This girl is so humble, respectful and positive. She's won me over as a Jamaican. Very proud of her. It was clear to me that she was past her peak. She did a 21.80 and 21.77 back to back but they finished whatever energy her legs had left. She still did very well tho.
I kinda have ridiculous crush on her..LoL But I couldn't agree more! Not mention HUMBLE, RESPECTFUL, AND POSITIVE And Just overall BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE is the way I would and have described your Jamaican Women! Their smiles and their laughter is SO infectious it made me root for them as if they were on the U.S. Team. It's the 1st time EVER IN MY LIFE that We didn't medal and yet I Was Still HAPPY!!!
I agree with you Albert. Abby is very humble and positive and respectful to her elders in the game. I wish Sha'Carri would take a page from her book.

Such a nice attitude. I'm really impressed with the US athletes this year - all of them, from Woah Noah to Steiner, Mclaughlin, Mohammad, Fred Kerley. Just an amazing team. All these athletes from world over give out positive vibes of achievement, fierce determination but also a love for each other. The world needs this.

Running against the best in the world after college on her first World Championship final is a big accomplishment. Abby just turned professional and not on her prime. Big future awaits her. We are proud of you. Go Abby. Go USA!
Plus, she's just 22 years old. Plenty of sprints left in her. 👍
She is not only humble but very beautiful with her great smile a pretty eye's. It's not often you see a white girl who can run like Abby!
After 55 races this year, she's clearly running on fumes.
It will be exciting to see what she can do next year as a full time pro, being one year stronger and more experienced, not having to attend college, and not having to overrun.
I ran while when young, agree on the over run, easy to do it and it takes a toll.

Abby Steiner has the IT Factor. She is incredibly Likable , Personable, Positive, Complimentary of others, Respectful and a SHINING Light in track and field. That is a Superstar right there! Take NOTE! 55 Races Zero Complaints or Excuses!
That is not enough to win races at the top level. But we will see because she is still young.
@@luciocosta7433 Lucio I will tell u! I have run track in college and when U r consistently competing @ the highest level and WINNING 55 races is unbelievably Exhausting. @@Omar-qm5sf Its not absurd to predict that she will be one of the greats. Steiner's PB is better than Shericka Jackson's, Flo-Jo's, Shelly-Anne's, and Thompson-Herah's PBs (the greats) all were at her age. The closest any of them were at the same age was 22.15 by Shelly-Anne, which is a diff of nearly half a second. Not to say she will top them, but she is well on the trajectory to join them.

What a humble soul. She has a bright future because of the resilience she shown, competing against the best after a gruelling year of back to back races. Hats off for her.
Abby is 22 years old. This was impressive considering the long indoor and outdoor season she had at Kentucky. You have to remember she had to deal with multiple injuries. A torn ACL, injured achilles tendon and of course, the pandemic set her back even more after her injury recovery. She left soccer after being a dual sport athlete at Kentucky to concentrate on track. She is still raw.
She got paid by Puma so now she can concentrate on track like a professional athlete should without worrying about studying for a test or money. This means the best training, nutrition, and trainers. I'm rooting for Abby to come back stronger next season.
