I only came out of my cave a couple months ago and discovered Silverchair. I fell DEEP in love immediately! Now I am exploring who Daniel has become. I could have lived with Silverchair forever, but this guy is amazing. He seems to be able to do anything and Blow the top off! A Pure musical genius!
I loved him in Silverchair, but that voice! I don't care what genre he explores, the man has an eclectic talent! I wish the USA would give him a chance.

Always loved Silverchair, loved The Dissassociatives album and love the solo stuff. Daniel Johns has always pushed into new territory and I've loved the evolution as an artist. If he was still making grunge records with Silverchair, I would have written it off long ago but that's what being an artist is...evolution

I've loved silverchair since the 90s. Didn't like there last album young modern though and enjoy this solo album more over that . Time for change so good on him .
Nothing really wrong with the music (it is actually very good), but the dude looks like an Illuminist in half the pictures I see of him. It's cool, if that's your thing. If he is, it makes me wonder why the change of heart. Or was he a different flavor of this in silverchair and I just didn't see it?

Actually, Paul Mac did work with Silverchair starting with the "Freak" remix, then he did work with Silverchair on Neon Ballroom, Diorama and Young Modern. So I guess he must have ruined the last three albums, huh? So much for "The Paul Mac Theory".
