Blessed Karl, please intercede to God, and pray for us. All families need your intercession, especially in these days and times. Amen.

Everything that is beautiful and honorable and noble is within the Catholic Church and faith.

He and his wife, Zita, were just the most kind and humble souls you can imagine - how incredible it ever might sound that such souls can emerge out of a hardcore political power family as the Habsburgs were. But it is truth; they really were saints. I have realized it, after a very special meeting I have had with Karl himself at a time when I still didnt even know who he was in the first place.
Now, I will pray to him for a miracle. I only have Karl to lean on, and he has truly shown me, he is real. He is in heaven now. He is a saint. And he is the only saint who has ever come so close to me.
Karl must be cannonized by the Holy See, but maybe by the next Pope. Francis would never do that. I know. There is no hope in Francis. He is hopeless. But hope will rise again. In Jesus Christ it will. Have faith in Christ - like Karl always had, what so ever. He was faithful to the last, and went stright to heaven.

Its such a shame that the Austro-Hungarian Empire fell, because it would've been led by a great man, Karl.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. We need a holy Emperor now! God bless Viktor Orban. God bless Andrzej Duda. God bless Mateusz Morawiecki. God bless all righteous rulers. God bless our President. May God cast down every wicked imagination and principality that would exalt itself against the Lord of Lords and the King of glory!

My paternal grandfather served in the Royal Hungarian Army. And a distant maternal cousin was King of Hungary in the 15th century.

He was like Coelestin... holy but neither a diplomat nor politician or general. Greetings from Austria. Pray for us sinners!

Mr. Cunningham: you need to learn a little something about economics before you praise someone for flogging a merchant when he raises his prices in a state of emergency. The increase in price serves to inform the people just how scarce the commodity has become, which they need to know so that they can use it only for the most urgent needs until the supply improves. If it's water, say, they'll use it primarily for drinking and cooking, not for washing their clothes or their cars or their pets, uses that can take a back seat to what is essential until the supply improves. In addition, when the price of a commodity jumps in an emergency, it gives a reason for people outside the affected area to go to some expense to bring in more of the commodity, anticipating that doing so will be profitable. That, plus the self-rationing by the people in the area, will together help to alleviate the shortage and lower prices automatically. It is idiotic to sabotage this dynamic by punishing people for making scarce items more expensive.
