Maybe they are tomapeas 😂😂. Oh I love a god touwdy up. Oh Rach you are too fun to watch. Lovely update guys and glad Eric has all his digits 😜😜. Have a fab week, Ali ☔️🌦️🇨🇦
Aw shame you won't have the moment of pure joy when the peas slide out of the guttering! 😂 The gutter method is more for either early sowings to get a head start or if you have rodent problems and they'd dig up direct down peas. Hopefully yours do great again direct sown. And now another type of greenhouse clip discovered! Well done on your tidy 😊
Haha I know, and that's what I thought, the greenhouse will be needed for other things so just decided to scrap it 😂 And they are so handy. I'll need some more as used all I had 💚🙂
I fastened my stuff up in the greenhouse on my own last year. Just measure out the string, tie it around the greenhouse fixings and then slid gutter along the loops on your own. You can do it Rach. It’s easier than canning 🤣 Can hardly believe it’s time for shade netting already. Summer is coming. If it’d just dry up 😭😭
Haha it's not a thing of doing it on my own, but the fact I can just direct sow 😂 And I need the bamboo support up so it's easier to sort the netting now. It was up all year round last year But yes, sick of this rain. It's everyday now ☹️
Those little clips for the greenhouse look great, I might have to look at something like that for the toms as well. I was going to try gutter pea's this year but decided to just set some away at home as the greenhouse was occupied 😂🙈
They are great Jamie. I got these of TEMU, I'll send you the link as I need more And those pesky chicks eh! 😂 bet they loving their new home now though 🐥🐓
Hi Linda and thanks for the comment. They were already there but I'm sure you can get them in local diy places, garden centres or online. Just check your greenhouse has those type of slits on the inside frame and most should fit ok 👍🏽
Busy, Busy,Busy Rach, I start my peas off in gutters and the reason being, if i directly sowed them outside like my plot neighbour Ian did , the mice would scran them. Now Ian is sowing into guttering as well. If yous have had no problem sowing directly, carry on, if it aint broken, dont fix it as the saying goes. A good Toidey up ? is that like a deep clean compared to an ordinary Tidy up 😂😂😂 ( sorry but couldnt resist it ). Like you i run a cane the length of my tomato room, on both sides and end to support my tomatoes. Its hard to believe that its nearly time for shading in the greenhouses yet we cant get anything planted out yet because of the rain. Wish i could get my Cauli, Swede and Cabbage out just to give me more space. Enjoyed the video Rach, looking forward to the next one. P.S The cane that was short on the length, you may be beter off taping another cane to it so its the correct length, that way it wont be pulling on the wire once the toms start growing and adding weight to it. 👍
As always Jimmy 😁👍🏽 thank you. And yeah that's a good year, taping a shorter bit to a longer bit. Clever lad! 🤣👏🏽 I will have to get some duck tape as can't find any in the house 🙄 And I can't wait either, running out of room isn't the best 😂💚 Lovely comment Jimmy, thank you 😄
Peas in the gutter never worked for me so I don't bother with it. My labeling is rubbish so I bought a pen and i write on everything now 😂.👍👌🙏😁 Don't use the plastic clips to support your tomatoes, i did last year and it all collapsed, I bought metal ones this year.🙏👍
I've always fancied trying it but as I said, just another job isn't it 🤣 And I'll just use twine to hold the toms up. I've got these other things to wrap round the twine then to the plant. I'll show you those another day 👍🏽
Very cleaver clips
I was just thinking wow your greenhouse is so clean... and your like oh I'm going to clean up in the greenhouse! Madness
Haha it was messy lol I like to see clean tidy open spaces 🤣 I'm already anxious about stuff growing and all clumped together and messy 😂

I tried using polystyrene and got fed up of the mess when harvesting the compost or plants. Nice video my friend's.
I've seen a couple use it but this is my first time and it was such a good thing to use. I don't like mess either 🤣
Thanks Terry 🌱😄

Hi Rachel, if the peas you did last year worked then stick with that idea. Can I ask where you got your greenhouse netting clips from, the black ones.
