A New Addition To The Plot and Planting GIANT Aliums Bulbs
Hi everyone.
In this video we add one of the three Belfast sinks that we got this time last year 😂 just too heavy move so was a job Eric kept putting off. Not sure what I'll plant in here yet so that's on the list for next year.
We tidy up the brocolli and cauliflower beds ready for next season and check on the potatoes that hopefully should be out Christmas ones 😇
It was a sad week as I buried my grandad Thursday 24th October and we picked up some of his garden flowers. They are lovely to see as you first walk onto the plot and we are going to get more later.

Planting Garlic and Onions for an Awesome Spring Harvest
Переглядів 871Місяць тому
Hi everyone and welcome back. This video, I show you how we plant up garlic garcua and autumn champion onion sets. The soil is a mix of compost and sand as it was used for carrots, parsnips and onion from plot 1. I didn't add anything to it, but I did water them with some tomorite in. I covered them all apart from the last 25 onions and I've made a note of that to see if there is any growth dif...

Hi everyone and welcome back. Sorry it's been a while. I lost my grandad Sunday 29th September. He was 92 years young and such an amazing man. So although I had all this video ready I just never had the chance to upload so I hope you enjoy what I've put together. We are clearing up on all the plots and getting them ready for 2025. I've also purchased a lot of seeds, new ones and unpronounceable...

That wandering flimsy … it was polite about its little shuffle. Thankfully didn’t break. Those bulbs are huge! Only downside to alliums is how much the leaves did back as they flower, so I’m making sure to have things growing around the base of them this time too.. to hide the foliage. Looks like you’re going to have success with the onion sets. 15:56 Grow babies, grow. Garlic is doing well too. Love the toying with plans over the arch. I’m like that too.. so indecisive. It’ll come to you, where you prefer it to be. Love the flower pots from your grandad’s. ❤

First time I've ever grown them deep, I usually just pop them in where there's a bit sticking out the soil. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽 The flowers do look lovely.
