Not a huge digital gamer but this is checking alot of boxes. Seriously considering giving it a spin. OG rogue trader lore is great! Thanks for covering this
The boss of chapter 1 is insanely difficult but not impossible. My only real complaint so far. That and the game has crashed to PS5 dashboard a few times.
I forget this is available for ps5! I really want a gaming PC for BattleTech, but until then & the fact I don't have time for games, I may still have to get this for the rare occasion or binge session. Would love to see you put out some RT lore vids (unless I missed them). Thanks for the review!

It'll probably only get better from now, as their games seem to launch with some issues that they eventually fix/improve. TL;DR: This is a good 40k game, if you enjoy CRPG's with turn based combat against big groups of enemies. 🤓
Chose this game over Sea of Stars, to switch things up from Cyberpunk and Indie games. A perfect time as I'm reading through the Siege of Terra books toward "The End and the Death". This, combined with all the Christmas foods are providing for some *_mad_* 40K dreams. PS: Happy Holidays, Sandman.
I didn't finish the game yet, but i'd say it's an 8.5/10 CRPG, but a 10/10 40k game. Ship combat could be more fun, the trading system could be more complex and it could have better graphics, but the story, the builds and the regular combat are pretty good. It looks like it also has a good amount of replayability, with all the builds, origins and alignments. You and your companions feel like a lore-accurate amount of poweful, wich makes sense, considering you are a rogue trader and you travel around with psykers, sororitas, space marines and etc.
Slightly off topic--but it does have rogue traders in the story and has lots of exploration--what's everyone's opinion of Graham McNeill's "Priests of Mars" trilogy?
What a a lovely game, and better of all if you play yours cards well you can have a really happy ending. For a WH40k standard that for me was awesome. Cassia best waifu.

The Rogue Trader game is ridiculously complicated. I have to be a Mathematician to understand/remember how the abilities/talents work!

I've played about 40 hours at this point and it really gets 40k right
