Great segment guys. Could not agree more. Probably told you my dad flew PBYs with two tours in the Aleutians in WWII. It was a grueling flying environment. His stories made me want to be a Naval Aviator. So, I did in the late 60s, 70s, and early 80s.
I spent 2 years on the Little Rock AFB Honor Guard and presented the folded flag to a lot of WW2 vet next-of-kin. Many widows would take my hand and tell me thank you and it meant so much to them, and he would be so proud to see the ceremony. Sometimes it was all I could do keep my military bearing at how wonderful those people were.
On behalf of all of them, thank you so much!
thank you for your service to all military I believe World War II is the greatest generation of them all god bless
My dad was on Saipan and at one point they saw a Corsair and a Zero in a dogfight and according to my father both sides stopped to cheer for their fighter. I heard my dad talk about that day so many times during my life he was so proud to have been a part of the Marine Corps.
mover nos his films 2.
Let’s be honest here…NO ONE in today’s world is going to be telling anyone (much less allowing anyone) to just commandeer a fighter jet and just “take off” in it.
Algorithmic engagement comment.
