The base model iPhones are far more feature rich and capable than previous years devices and the pre-orders show that there are more people buying the base models this year than the pros.
it basically caught up to pro models. its like a 2 yr gap product release

I agree, he's fun to watch. This feels like a friend telling me about the newest iPhone. I just found his channel today bc I'm thing of upgrading to the 16 from a 13 mini in purple. I'm gonna subscribe to ZY cheng :) can't wait to watch future reviews.
He's no dummy and he does his homework. Also, he's on the viewer's side which is the hardest thing and the most valuable, essential skill of all in marketing, art, tech, everything. The set, the script, the delivery. There's a ton of prep that goes on behind the scenes. I thank heaven for channels like ZY Cheng - Wandering DP, Simon D'Entremont, and Micro Four Nerds are other true pros who share transferable skills; and of course, inspiration has no borders.
Hi Please do a full camera test between 15 and 16 series as lot of people are considering 15 series due to better price.

Its sad that the base models are soo good but the refresh rate is just 60hz.. i wish it was 90hz atleast
The sound of the voice in "in frame" and "studio" is unpleasant. It is only mid frequences left... Not an open sound anymore.

Helpful to hear the mics; thank you. I can call to mind a ton of mojo interviews where these audio features would have been most welcome. Okay, I'll upgrade the 15Pro.
As soon as you connect Bluetooth headphones, playback only works in standard mode. This is strange. Anyone else experience this?

I found the model mixed voices to be robotic. Am I the only one?
with the standard version of iphone 16 (which does not include a lidar sensor) can i still use AR and/or VR apps or is there a specific problem?
Hi on the non pro iPhone 16, can the audio mix multi tracks be exported for editing, or upon export it becomes just a stereo track?
I have the iPhone 16 Pro and I’m recording videos and I literally do not have the audio mix button. I’m a videographer and Video editir as well and I know it’s not rocket science, but it literally does not exist on my phone. I am updated to iOS 18.1 as well.

Yes. I have a 16 pro. I took a loud video and the button did not appear. I took a quiet video and it did appear. But even when it does appear you can only playback audio without using headphones. Unless in standard mode. It must be a glitch. Hopefully they’ll fix it.
