I remember seeing Phiwa at concourse during the 2019 registrations. This was when he aced grade 12 technical maths and science with 100% and I must admit that his consistency is on another level! 🔥🔥🔥
Sooooo Inspirational, as someone who is doing civil engineering at wits, i can now say it is possible. This guy is really something else. Dr.Mahudu, thank you very much for giving us such content.
I am a 3rd year Aeronautical Engineering student at Wits and I barely passed. I did not understand most courses including Thermodynamics, Dynamics and Machine Elements. So I don't know how I am going to tackle 3rd year but I will try to go back to the courses I struggled with and try to understand more rather than cramming. Thank you for such content. It really helps a lot
And I needed to understand the things in my 2nd year. I tend to compare myself to other people. My schedule is like waking up, going to class, attending lectures, go and study for a short while, then chill and watch UA-cam shorts and waste hours on end. Then go back home, watch TV, study for 30 minutes, tell myself I am tired then I sleep. On weekends I play catchup with courses and end up doing one course, and cross night. Then when it's test time, I cram and go write. Then on exams, cram content and go write. That is a destructive thing to do and I did it for 2 years. I let social media ruin me, and I let my failures drag me down. And I keep comparing myself to others. So eish, it was destructive
@@decipherknight4750 You still have a chance to start afresh this year. At least you acknowledge your mistakes. That's the best place to start. You can do this, keep going!
Have to agree with him about being competent; getting a degree is quite achievable but to be competent in the field is another thing and probably what sets apart the best from the rest.
Hey guys Maths Class rep @ wits 2023 here As a former student of Dr. Ben Mahudu i can vouch that sirs teaching style is awesomeee and his lessons in class serve to help us not only in the course but in life BENS THE BEST TEACHER EVER!!! I can firmly say that i enjoyed my time with him and my spoils of war were a distinction in maths!! Lesgooo!!! But thats enough words from a course chower... as Ben says "time to do maths"
