Fantastic footage and very interesting to watch as I'm not too far away myself especially when footage shows of Bewdley and 7 Valley 👍👍

This is what I like about this country. They know how to upkeep the heritage of the country. They keep the surroundings so beautiful even if it consists of something discarded long ago.

great video, very interesting, was at bettisfield station yesterday and totally agree, owner has done a great job, even down to the" buy your day ticket to Llangollen" poster displayed in the waiting area.

Very interesting Videos you’ve done there, good bit of investigating, I was not aware you could walk much of the line at all and to see bits of it very much walkable that’s given me incentive to redo some investigating in that part of Shropshire.
And yes Bettisfield station looks really good, he’s done a cracking job there with rails and a motor to boot👍

Great video! However, I just want to point out that at 10:12 you were suggesting that the line went straight through the gateway and under the bypass. Actually through that gate was the old private, occupation lane off Alkington Road. At 10:29 I want to point out that the railway line did not come down the private gravel drive that's there now and actually came down a clearing/cutting to your left. I know all of this because I live at the farm that owns a mile stretch of the track as it backs onto our land. My great grandfather bought the section of disused line when it came up for sale in 1972 when they were de-comissioned. The railway line there is now a private patch of land with a stand of native trees which were planted.
    Thanks

@@floydpitt7590 the map you linked shows what I explained, the track didn't come down the gravel and go straight through the gate in a line, it was further to the left looking at the gravel and further to the right looking at the gateway. Directly from the gateway was the private lane that was parallel to the track

If you turn left just below the old Station at Fenns bank you can pick up the track bed it will take you to a railway bridge over the canal alsol if you pick up the tow path towards Whitchurch you can follow the line to another bridge across from the canal which is built over a farm track.

3:14 to 3:54 is the site of the Welshampton railway disaster I think en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welshampton_rail_crash

Incorrect! The little piece of Wales does not stick into England! It is the other way round! This part of Shropshire sticks into Wales! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
