Thé first advice to keep centered where action is likely to work best when you know the map and know what around the corner looks like. So I’d say that knowing the map actually helps with aiming.
I’ve been playing default settings since season 0 I feel my aim is solid the only I did was increase one of the sensitivities to 4 the other is still default 3

You made me understand why I’m good with some weapons and bad with others.. I am conditioned to aim for the head from counter strike, so all these guns that needs to be aimed center mass aren’t working for me.. I’ll work on it, thank you for the excellent video again.
Actually though all weapons are dangerous when aimed at the head. But for shortgun, shoulder level upwards is ideal except you're extremely good to land consistent headshots
But evn CS has alot of guns tht requires recoil control albeit its less of a problem since most of the fights are close range anyways but still it shud help you during close range fights in Apex...untill your enemy starts jumping off walls and shit lol
@@Buckheimer in counter strike, a precise headshot ends the fight. In apex, you need follow up shots. I use the 3030 a lot because it can kill in a very short time, but even that gun kills a lot slower than the average gun in cs.
That just means your aim isnt good u should continue playing the game if youve been playing for a short time you just need experience noone became a pro in 2 or 3 months most of them have been playing for years

Here's a tip that will help with that: Try not to land in the same exact building as teammates. Land in a building beside them that way you'll get your own building of loot atleast off rip. Also try to look out for enemies dropping around you on the way down

There is an easter egg that makes them move, if you want to try that as well. Look it up on UA-cam! :D But, the way I like to think about the firing range is treating the dummies like they are moving. Pretending to anticipate shots, and getting really creative with my practice.

If you have drift on controller, you can try increasing your look deadzone until you no longer have it.

Sounds like you're having troubles with your landing spots.
50/50s are some of the most frustrating things to take in the game.

aim assist makes it harder to move from one target to the other on controller
I started playing end of July. I had to turn off aim assist. It's to strong in this game.

My issue with firing range is the target dummies don't move and I don't have any issues hitting stationary targets
