Learning about how these fish can impale people was fascinating (and sad, too). The natural world never ceases to amaze me (and also slightly terrify me...)
Wow! I had no idea people have been IMPALED by this on accident! What a way to go. 40 mph is SUPER FAST for a fish too! Thanks for such cool information.
yeah, Jermey wade the host of the show called river monsters has an episode about them. if I'm not mistaken a lady was wearing a necklace while swimming & a needle fish saw a glimmer of light from the necklace & swam towards her & went into her eye & the lady died from it .
These dudes are little bastards as they are very good at stealing bait. Bait that is otherwise somewhat expensive or labor intensive to acquire. Salt water fisherman generally hate them because of this. I once knew a dog who hated them too probably because he understood that they pissed off my old boss. Every time we caught one Mr.Dog would attempt to murder it.
I don't know guys. Those bones are a bit thin for me. I don't think I could eat them. And I can't believe they can kill people. That's a crazy, crazy fact.
Whoever has that cat might wanna do some research. That looks like a Diamond Eye. Works like this: Descendants are Thailand royalty. A "khao plort" means "all white". A "khao manee" means "all white, odd eyes". The American term for the breed is "Diamond Eye". A khao manee was never even allowed into the United States until 2009 and only then with certified breeder's credentials. Zookeepers license? Umm...No. A khao manee is a rare breed inside of a rare breed. A khao manee isn't merely extremely rare but instead is EXCEPTIONALLY rare. The most prized are those with one pale yellow and one pale blue eye. The one in that photo at the end looks VERY close. There ARE khao manee photos online. The shorter hair like the one in the photo is a giveaway. There are some all-white, odd-colored-eyed Angoras but Angoras have longer hair. The two-color eyes medically is known as "heterochromia iridum". Some even have 4 colors. Humans can have the condition as well. It's harmless. Worth investigating. Praying it pans out!
That's Chester. He's our cat. He's definitely special to us, but idk about any special lineage. We rescued him from a shelter and don't know any of his history. He is heterochromatic with one blue and one green eye, but there aren't any papers on him or anything like that. He's a mutt cat as far as we know! But he's a really special guy to us ❤️ If I'm being frank, I honestly hope he *isn't* purebred anything. They have more health issues and shorter lifespans. I would much rather have a mixed breed with better genetics any day! You can see more of Chester on the April Fool's video we made about him a few years ago: ua-cam.com/video/Yh_Jc4cgNKs/v-deo.html Thanks for watching and commenting!
The Przewalski's Horse (Equus przewalskii) is actually a separate species from the Tarpan (Equus ferus), making the Domestic Horse (Equus ferus caballus) the only extant subspecies of tarpan.
@@indyreno2933 The Przewalski’s Horse was never tamed, ridden, nor domesticated so they are considered wild horses. They show traits of the prehistoric wild horses: up right manes, dun coloration(prehistoric horses are also believed to come in bays, chestnuts, greys, blacks, leopard spotted, and duns) and they have a small stocky build. Tarpan horses were actually a species of domestic horse. There is a debate and there is evidence that shows that certain European and Russian horse breeds were influenced with Tarpan horse blood(meaning some horses where created by the crossing of tarpan horses) Not all domestic horses come from the tarpan tho. Older horse breeds such as Andalusians, Lusitanos, Turkomans, and Arabians(just to name a few) might have been cross bred with the Tarpan making a few horse breeds. So in a way u are right but to an extent because like I said, not all early domestic horses were bred to tarpans.

I came here to see what they looked like. A woman was surfing the other day and one of these struck her right in the chest and she died. Terrible.
