She is correct about the education. The curriculum in the Caribbean is so advanced (difficult) when Caribbean students migrate to the United States they are actually ahead of their American classmates

Same as African countries.. I'm from Kenya and the education system is no joke we don't have multiple choice exams after primary school (7th grade), so coming to USA was so much easier for me.

Foolishness. It us all a myth. I use to believe this, but now I know better. If you are comparing yourself to black Americans, yes, you are generally smarter, but not whites and Asians. When most Jamaicans immigrate to the US, they usually end up in poor black urban communities, such as NY, Florida. The problem is that, these schools are underachieving schools, so think the work is easy, until they start college. If they attended schools in a middle to upper class community, it would be different. It is amazing how many Jamaicans think high School was easy, but couldn't make it through college. I know many Jamaicans who thought they were so advance and did very poorly on the SAT.
Oral sex is taboo in Jamaica because it's looked at as unsanitary due to menstruation, childbirth and religion. At the end of the day it's more about their pride.
