Scheepers is a real beast. He really has this razor sharp edge in his voice like Halford. So great.

Ho on Earth did Ripper get the Priest gig over Ralph? This Man is as good as Halford in my opinion, and I've been a JP fan since 1980.

It was something about him that did not work between them , but im happy i think primal fear beats Priest after painkiller Ralf is a beast and the band does very good songs overall.
Tim Ripper Owens is a brilliant singer just like Ralf Scheepers and he deserved to sing for JP like he‘s rocking the Dio Disciples 🤘

I don't understand why PF are categorised as a 'power metal ' band. They're not! The fact that their melodies are powerful and not cheesy is dead give away.

They've found their own sound since Seven Seals, the albums before that one sounded a lot like Judas Priest but were still awesome

I bet the crowd wasn't as dead, sadly today's live DVDs have the sound so doctored that they take out all the crowd noise from the songs if you pay attention all new "live DVDs" have the crowd sound between songs but when they start playing the crowd goes full mute. It's a common thing nowadays, I really miss the old live discs.
You may be right... but even in the fastest parts of the song, they kinda look as if just standing still... anyway, good observation. And yes, totally agree with you, miss the old live cds/dvds too!

Crowd is dead. Damn right they are. It's not just the sound doctored. I remember shows from the late 80s and early 90s and crowd went literally wild, sometimes out of control. I've seen authorities stopping a show because of the wilderness. At least that is how it was here in Spain. And even after the encore people wouldn't live the venue or the arena, screaming for more until we were expelled from the place. Today I keep going to gigs and everyone is standing still recording the show with their cell phones. I wonder if they ever watch those recordings with crappy sound and out of focus image. They miss the total live experience, I don't get it. And after the last song they don't even ask for more. They just leave the place quietly. I don't get it either.

La gente es lo único que me molesta. Que amargos que son. No tienen sangre parece. Terrible banda tienen en frente y cero pogo, cero acompañamiento, alguno que otro haciendo headbanging pero el resto mas quietos que rulo de estatua. Por algo cuando vienen a latinoamerica se vuelven locos con la locura de la gente

Ich habe Ralf Scheepers vor zwei Wochen beim Autorennen auf dem Hockenheimring getroffen! Ich habe ihn zwei Mal laut und deutlich angesprochen. Doch leider hat er mich ignoriert! Schade! Ich bin 59 Jahre alt komme aus dem Schwarzwald und war in den achtziger Jahren schon Fan von Tyran Pace! Schade schade schade!!!
