German legend Thomas Muller has sent a cheeky message to former teammate Kai Havertz and the rest of the Gunners squad.
Speaking after the two clubs were drawn together, Muller said:
"And it's Arsenal, Kai Havertz my friend...I am waiting for you.
It's a nice draw, two very good teams, two very good stadiums, two very good cities. Yeah it will be tough but I am always positive. See you Gunners!"
You can just sense Muller's anticipation at facing Havertz and testing himself against Arteta's in-form side.
For the Bayern talisman, it's a chance to go head-to-head with a close pal and make a major statement in Europe's top club competition.
As for Arsenal, it's a daunting but massively exciting draw against one of the continent's real heavyweights.
The Gunners have bitter memories from previous knockout clashes with Bayern. But this young, fearless group have a golden opportunity to rewrite that history.
Muller clearly fancies Bayern's chances. But his words have also provided Arteta's men with the perfect added motivation to rise to this European test.

Never doubt muller! I dont remember the last time muller sent a message and didn't win. The ucl giants with a tied 3rd place ever of 6 ucls, with muller having 2 of them. Bayern WILL win. They are out of their slump. I'm 99% sure arsenal are out. Wish you the best and you didnt seem too arsenal-biased in your vid so I respect it.

@P1RSA haha rude? You're literally disrespecting a decent team with a good chance of progressing by saying they are 99% out without any reasonable facts or claims. Porto is undeniably our achilles heel because they were playing the mid block which is tactifically the hardest for arsenal to play with their current system. They were a good team with honestly one of the best defences in europe. And now, here you're just saying bayern is gonna win 99% because they historically do against arsenal but history don't mean shit when you're second in a farmers league. Oh and, you could also actually and just go online and just see the odds of the game. Arsenal ARE factually more geared to win. Spit me with some actual football facts and not just biased bullshit 🙃
