I believe a good example of what Andrew is saying is Job. I believe Job believed in God instinctively.I believe this because it is clear that Job had no revelation of God's character until the young man and God himself rebuked him. This and the fact that Job wasn't under any covenant. Even so, God spoke highly of Job to Satan because of Job's faith. We are made right with God through faith alone. I can imagine Job enjoying an awesome fellowship with God for the rest of his days. Today, we have the privilege of knowing God's character through the person of Jesus Christ! We are under a much better covenant with much better benefits! That's why it's unfortunate for a New Covenant saint to be bound by religion. Traditions and doctrines of men makes the Word to none effect. Andrew is an awesome teacher on the Gospel Truth. Barry Bennett has a deep revelation as well. God bless A.W.Ministries!!

This came at the perfect time. Without the true gospel it´s not grace and then it becomes only commands to keep the whole law and as a result condemnation. But it´s no condemnation NOW to those who are in Christ Jesus! Rom 8:1 :)
15:55 idolatry is simply loving anything more than God. We Christians can also fall into this so we need to let our HS guard our hearts everyday from loving anything or anyone above God.
We must come to a place where we love God more than even His own promises toward us.
We must love God and he content with Him alone and not just love Him for what He can give to us.

@@marcharliedavid3201 I pray you will get a deeper intimate knowing of our Lord because that is the only purpose He created us for- to know Him more.
For all eternity we will be in intimate fellowship with Him. That's the only thing that matters!

Even the things of God can take us away from Him if we don't guard our hearts. I see a lot of Christians in love with the things of Christ rather than the person of Christ and this should not be so
A lot of Christians are busy with ministry or family and they forget to keep God first place. It shows what's first in our loves by the amount of time we give to it.

@@joegulick1118 well patience is a fruit of the Spirit. And this is actually day 2 of week 1 the title is a mistake. And I didnt hear any bad news. Pastor Andrew just gave a commentary of chapter 1. He clearly stated that God loves everyone and anyone can receive salvation if he believes on Jesus.
He is just making an observation that the scriptures are right concerning men who have hardened their conscience

Can a Christian lose their salvation? Meaning would God take it away? No, but I do believe we can make a choice and forsake our salvation with consistent willful sin.
Andrew please dont say things like ‘there is no hope’. There is always hope in Christ to stop what is wicked and enforce righteousness

Yes Andrew it’s horrible what they teaching in schools about homosexuality.
At 5:15 I believe those people wouldve never accepted Jesus even if they heard the Gospel anyway.
I believe God has foreknowledge of everyone you would accept Him even before He started this creation and He will get everyone saved who has the potential to accept Him no matter what.
Jesus said the none the Father gives to Him will be lost. That means everyone who has the potential to be saved would somehow hear the Gospel and be saved.
I believe the people who go to hell wouldve never accepted Jesus even if they had all eternity to do so.
So it really bothers be when I hear pastors in pity and wailing because they think they could've gotten more souls saved if they had preached more or whatever.
Hey! We don't save anyone, it's God who saves! We just share the good news according to His leading.
There is scripture for all of this.
But please note, this doesn't mean we shouldn't share the Gospel to all peoples according to the leading of the HS though. But even if we missed it, I believe scripture makes it clear that He will still get the Gospel to them and save everyone who has to the potential to be saved.
@Emmaus Road-Jesus is King, Amen, Jesus also said in (Matt 16:18) that "HE" would build His church and the gates of hell would "not" prevail just like you said we can take heart as we share the gospel with others that He will not fail to save HIS people (Matt 1:21) we serve a "POWERFUL", PERFECT, & 'BEAUTIFUL" Saviour, and if you don't mind my saying based on His beauty, that have you ever seen a place in this earth that you thought man that's so jaw-droppingly "BEAUTIFUL", Well that was created by Jesus (Col 1:16) and if that came out of Jesus, can you just imagine how ("BEAUTIFUL") HE IS (Jn 17:24a)
