Thorne created his own insecurities. Too immature. Just what the hell inspired him to press for marriage on the night Caroline's rape case concluded? Did he really think she was emotionally and mentally prepared for the sacrifices and compromises of marriage? Just listen to Caroline in this episode - talking about submission and compliance - as usual. This is where she begins to step out of that zone with others controlling the course of her life, especially to have her own desires and freedom thrashed by a rapist. And here too are Stephanie and Bill literally making plans FOR her. Just like the rapist, they are all taking her right to make choices of her own out of her hands, and they seem to believe they are privileged to do so!

As soon as there was a break in the relationship, Thorne swooped In like a vulture
In his head after a few days with caroline he was in love and he made himself belive she didn't want ridge
Even when caroline was begging to forgive ridge for cheating and going out on a few dates with him, Thorne was all up in there business
Now ridge did not help matters. One minute he was charming and seemed to respect caroline. The next he is acting like an ass because she won't jump into marriage and bed sith him.
There biggest break up came after seeming to have some good days together. Ridge seemed to think this entitled him to sex and the past just being wiped away. When that didn't happen he turned sour on caroline, breaking a date with her, and inviting vmbrooke over for well sex.

Thorne took that as an opportunity to get himself more in her life.
Thorne never acknowledged that caroline did not live him that way. Even after there divorce. He acted like it was all caroline.
He wasn't kind to her at all.

Stephanie "work isn't the only priority in life" while she hides from her husband their disabled child because she cared more about him focusing on his job lmao. The incongruity in her is outstanding always.

Ridge treats brook like an object
Ridge would not stop badgering and pleading with her to live with him. The mistake Brooke made was to actually move into the Forrester mansion. She should have insisted they get their own place. After all, she was truly in love with him, but Ridge had an alterior motive and that was to make Caroline jealous.
Brooke had way more class and she should have done it her way , not Ridge the playboy’s way .
Brooke acts so desperate in her quest to snag Ridge. And Ridge is a bit too much the way he tells Brooke to just quit her job and find another job if she cannot get time off. Ridge has no respect for Brooke’s profession as a Chemist and the fact that she is well educated. Ridge has no respect for Brooke because she has no respect for herself😮

Seriously. I mean yea Thorne and Brooke was being sneaky but she saw the letter before she married him. Ridge begged her to be with him and told her he loved her and not only did she turn him down but had the nerve to guilt ridge into being the best man while she married his brother. Who complains about her father being ok with taking time off while she spends time with the man SHE chose to marry?

The preponderance of evidence the writers show of the LOVE of CRIDGE is denied for the Supporting of side characters pairing of Thorne/ Caroline (who LOVES Ridge) and Brooke with Ridge ( who loves Caroline). Just count the number of professions of love between CRIDGE VS Bridge or Thorne/ Caroline and you will have your answer from the script writers… but hey this is a free world where everyone can have a subjective “ feeling/ opinions” that is not based on the objective facts as portrayed by the writers/ directors:) The playboy Ridge who fell in love with one and only Caroline , a whole lot MORE than any other woman including BROOKE/ Margo/ Alex all beautiful women that he LOVED. I admit with JJ leaving/ Caroline dying, they did a script rewrite with a nod to Bridge love story, that clearly occurred ONLY AFTER Caroline Spencer died! True LOVE as SZ Zein eloquently stated CANNOT be SUPPRESSED or thwarted even with the plotting/ cunning duplicity of Brooke/ Thorne! True love triumphed!

@@songriver1232 really? Her husband wants to plan a romantic trip with his wife (which I thought women appreciate). He knew how important the magazine was to her so he wanted to make sure that everything will be covered while she was gone and she’s mad that Bill is ok with it.
She's mad at her dad because not because he okayed it but she's mad because he did okay she was banging on her father's day no that she couldn't get away from work because the magazine still is in its infancy and she needs to be at work and when he located then she didn't have an out so she feels more stuck now she couldn't use work as an excuse

Her attitude is justified
Caroline is a spoiled, pampered, entitled princess. I can’t stand her. She CHOSE to marry Thorne, whom she never should have gotten involved with in the first place, knowing that Ridge was still in love with her. Heck, she guilted Ridge into being Thorne’s best man so she could rub his face in it.
