The three Jain Mantras are - Right Knowledge, Right Faith, and Right Character are the principles that Jains follows in everyday life. And they will not do bad things to others that they do not want to happen to them either. That is in their overall teachings.

My neighbor & classmate is a Jain. Our fathers were collegues an in the 70's their business flourished due to my father but unfortunately the main partner, a non Jain, was dishonest. They amassed huge wealth thereafter and only after the demise of late Mr. Jain that I learned he was born in Lahore in 1927 and the entire Jain family migrated to India in 1950.

Hello guys... Well I was born in a Jain family... And yes hamari lifestyle bilkul esi hi hai mere family ne aaj tak real egg karib se nai dekha hai... In our community, log tab rich kehlata hai jab uske pass apna khud ka banglow ho, 2-3 cars ho and khud ka business ho. Agar ye sab nai hai to vo garib kehlata hai. And nowadays in India out of the top 10 richest people 3-4 people are Jain. FYI... Gautam Adani is also Jain.
