One of my last videos for the year went live in my large channel, it’s my favourite video yet. Watch it here (after this one!) 😂 ua-cam.com/video/ua6MGzxrH8Q/v-deo.htmlsi=M28t4fHRgh0bPZQE
A tajine is both a traditional Moroccan dish and the pot used to cook it. The pot, made of clay or ceramic, has a conical lid that traps steam, making the food tender and flavorful. The name of the pot is used to refer to the dish itself, such as vegetable tajine, omelette tajine, or beef tajine, depending on the ingredients. It's a slow-cooked stew, typically made with meat, vegetables, and spices, and is a staple in Moroccan cuisine.
8:05 the name is tajine it self and the meal you cook in it that differs from each other , like we cook alot of diffrent dishes in the tajine the name of the pot is tajine my sister i hope this is clear lol
@@anstwelvefromsecondtofirst Because Moroccan cuisine is international and the Moroccan tagine has reached the international level so how can it not reach the neighbors?
Your large channel video is amazing - so well produced and presented in your usual empathetic and respectful manner- excellent! The Moroccan colours and patterns are nicely unique. Definitely no olives. The look of the food made my mouth water! Yum! 🙂
I love olives now but I hated them until maybe age 30! Not sure why but all of a sudden I started to them 😂 The dish you had - tagine - the name of the clay pot is also called tagine. Morocco is known for great tagine dishes - and you’re right, I think you’ll definitely have a much better one somewhere less touristy. The pot makes the meat really tender esp if you cook it at a lower heat for a longer time.
I luuuuuuv olives. Even get my dirty martini’s extra dirty. Kofta is a meatball or meatloaf very popular through out the Middle East. You can buy the tagine earthenware pots in homeware stores in Australia
guys you could try the royal griulled lamb it is so good , hmm ask for chicken or fish bastilla ,try beef tagine with prunes and almands , tangia is dish of the city of marrakech ;;; just ask locals to show u some typical places where you can eat better

That thing in your balcony is not for safety reasons. We have then also in Spain ( called "persiana") . By having them down you keep the place cool during the day ( in hot days) and dark during the night. We have them also in windows. I love your videos!
Morroco is on my list too! But, wow, that was an expensive meal for Morroco.Tell me what I did wrong with the conversion, because $155 dirham works out to $67 AUD when it did it on my laptop

I’m anti olive! Yuk 🤢 I’ve been to several countries where you have to pay for cutlery and things… Greece and Italy are one of them. I found that so strange that you have to pay to use a fork and knive 🙈🤷🏻♀️

The pot the dish is cooked in is the Tajine, that’s why the dish is named the same.
my favorite food is : the number one is 1: Tagine with dry fruits and almande. 2 : Pastilla en chicken. 3 : Pastilla en sea fruits. 4 : Rfissa. 😊👍
Team olives and pickles over here. Also, Mike is packing in the other room and overheard you say "vessel for the sauce," and he shouted "Brunei!" 🤣
The bread is usually eaten with the kofta/chicken tagine .
