As a small tip, if you only use two layers in the material you could make a nova material with only the limited amount of layers. This will be more optimized. Great tutorial!

How and why the Decals rendered under the DIrt Layer ? Did You switched off render decal on mesh and render in materials ?
As far as I understand, the number of materials on each mesh, and the number of parameters in these materials strongly affect draw calls
one material is one draw call. Parameters have nothing to do with it.
It's not AAA quality.
