In this episode:
At the Darß threshold, a measuring mast weighing almost 16 tons must be dismantled at a depth of 21 meters and lifted on board the “Baltic Lift”. Backbreaking millimeter work, and not just for diver Jan, who has to swim against the current.
They risk their lives by salvaging munition from the second world war and damaged cutters. They lay 700 metres long pipes under the seabed for fiber optic links from Germany to Denmark and Sweden and cooperate with environmentalists and scientists to protect the Baltic sea and its marine life. They clean the sea from ghost nets that they find in shipwrecks and they grow seaweed for climate protection. With serenity, charm, and trustful teamwork the Baltic divers tackle every task and find solutions for every problem they encounter underwater.
