the show is over but they could write a book , five years later, to continue the story

Is a real shame this show didn’t get the attention it deserved but I’m glad the suits at AMC had the good sense to see it all the way through

I know she was manipulating him here, but part of her was sincere and even she knew it.

Well, she definitely didn't need to kiss him, the plan would have worked just fine without that. And it's hard not to wonder what she would have done and if she haf proceeded with it if he hadn't rejected her.

Echoing sentiments from others, there's absolutely a genuine tone with which Cameron delivers both her words and her kiss; the genius is that it's all part of her master plan to take down WestNet. She uses her wit and her charm here to bring about chaos, much like the Goddess of Destruction, Kali, after which the episode is titled.

Kali is not the goddess of destruction. (More like, time and nature
...) It's her consort, Shiva, who is known as the Destroyer. But it's not all negative either- he is the god of destruction, transformation and rebirth.
Even though they are a divine couple, there is a story about a time when Kali killed Shiva, and images of him lying at her feet... though I believe there are different versions of the story how and why this happened. Not that he was permanently dead, of course he wasn't - he can't ever be.

I don’t think the kiss and the tone are fake. She’s genuine and for a second she let herself be taken over her feelings for Joe. But, back to business.

Do you think she would have done what she did if he had run off with her? I don't think so. She might be manipulating him, but I think she feels genuinely in love with him. Hate and love are very close things: extremely powerful emotions. If you hate someone, you care about what they think and what they do. That's why boredom is the enemy of love and hate: it's the opposite of passion. I think she destroys him here not just because of what he's done but also because she wants to destroy who he has become: he's not allowing himself to be who he is, for good or bad. He's trying to not be the best of Joe MacMillen because he fears the worst of Joe MacMillen. The third season shows the results of this.

I've just finished the show and I'm so confused. I don't understand why Cam suddenly and unexpectedly broke up with Joe. It doesn't really make sense. I liked these two in season one. I thought they had really great potential and chemistry, but I must say after that it didn't really pick up. I liked the scene don't get me wrong but Cameron's a complex character and I feel sorry for Joe. I cannot make out if Cameron loved him or not. Btw, Lee Pace is a babe! Who's currently my new crush! He needs to be featured in more lead roles, this guys talent is going to waste

So many women were taking birth control pills then. Condom use as a regular thing wasn't happening yet. It took AIDS and a big uptick in venereal diseases to have people thinking about infections and a generational culture change to have all genders take for granted that somebody has to have a condom.
