Wonderful product! I would hook it up to my crystal radio to see if I could have a permanent nightlight system. I believe in supply and demand. If you are making sales at your fixed price, I commend you! Too pricey for me, but if others are buying, you have it priced right! My very best to you!

Hey, crystal radio fan here. I also looking for a super efficient Joule thief which It's able to work from very low voltage (e.g. 0.25volts) to increase the power output, a.k.a. increasing the volume of the crystal earpiece.
My plan is, i'll design a crystal earpiece which it has a built-in Circuit (using SMD components ) which it makes the AM Broadcast from the AM frequency much clearer and audible

nice, I look at the power supply that you manage to make the LED light up with normal brightness around 0.75v and 0.007 amp, means it only use 0.00525 watt or 5 miliwatt

It wasn't normal brighness normal brightness for that led should around 120milliwatts

What about a tesla captret to super caps and home made best effecient crystal batterys? Think I could get a old solar landscape light ir lights , ( led) to run indefinately?

Very good. Just a small detail. I saw on the printboard, you noted 0,250 mV. I think it should be 0,250 V or 250 mV.

That is a lot of 8ohm audio transformers. But why not use the solar light IC to make a joule thief flash light with some sort of avalanche diode to act as an amplifier for the circuit?

These things are awesome, but sadly overpriced for an eastern european, otherwise I'd order. You totally need to make a waterproof case for these. 3D printing?
You should add a generic DC in port (2.1mm, usually used for 12v) - people could connect different batteries and power sources, not just AA or AAA.
Been lurking on your channel ever since the eleman magnetic generator. Everything I wanted to make back in highschool. Keep it up!

I'm curious as to the dislike.....it's almost as if ppl just love to hate things. In my opinion if you dislike videos like this you are either a bot for the establishment or a person who can't figure things out.

Your products on eBay are way over priced. A garden solar light does the same thing just without a potentiometer for a fraction of the cost ... just saying

In Mr. George Chaniotakis's defense there's very few people doing what he does in each video. Offer free information, full disclosure with lab bench measurements, application showing all uses for his circuits. These designs are not just the names he gives them because they are designed for a range of uses or designed for a specific use but have options on how to run. Especially in a field not commonly found in academia. His knowledge is not scholastic either. Designing circuits to take advantage of what is typically grounded, called noise or back emf has been presented, understood and experimented thoroughly. Very few and far between are people that share the information behind their products. I feel the focus of his work are the videos. Donate $50 or $100 whatever to his cause and you get to choose a gift he'll send to you. Sometimes he throws in something extra. That's how I see what he's doing on youtube and ebay.
A quality effort in presenting his knowledge in a field of electricity that has few teachers. Some of us are moved by our heart to support him the way he asks, by purchasing what he's got on ebay.
