One month ago I was on life support and brushed death twice because of a careless surgeon. My wife stood in the gap and advocated on my behalf and played music from this quartet in the ICU and sought guidance and wisdom from the Master praying “His will be done” well praise His Holy Name I can continue to be about my Fathers business. Praying daily for His instructions as to how I may serve Him

I lost my grandma a few hours ago to Alzheimers. I remember when I was a teenager, she sat playing and singing this song at her piano. She made me promise to play it at her funeral. With Covid messing everything up, I don't know exactly what that will be like. One way or another it will be played. In this moment, this song is making me feel so much closer to her. She passionately loved Jesus her whole earthly life. I know where she is and can only imagine the joy she feels. My heart selfishly still aches with a pain I can't ease.

My grandma has passed away a few hours ago, I’ve just been sleeping on the floor looking at the ceiling. I’m hurt but I celebrate the life she lived. The last conversations I had with her she was just expressing how grateful she was to have seen her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was grateful for the grace that God had granted her. I can almost see her smiling in her young body as fresh as ever uniting with my grandfather in glory. Packed up the family and headed to the tiny town of Tippecanoe Indiana to hear the Redeemed Quartet. We arrived a half hour early and all the parking spots were gone. Cars started parking in the grass. We were able to get a seat, but every seat was filled in the sanctuary. Seats had to be set up out in the foyer. I feel bad for those in the foyer, because the sound was having to make it through walls and just coming out of the open doors. However, it was cool to see the place packed to its gills. Thanks Redeemed Quartet for a great night of worship and fellowship! What a blessing to be there!!!

Today makes 3 years my Momma passed away ...Daddy's be gone awhile ...Grandparents, Uncles ,and Aunts are gone ...so on this Easter Day it's has been really rough ...the loss ,hurt , and memories...pretty much it except for my wife and kids which I very much thankful & blessed . But I sure miss them ,but this song and God give me hope ..

This was my Dad's favorite song; and whenever we were working in the barn or anything else he would be humming this song or singing it. When I was little I remember asking him did he know any other songs? He would look up with tear filled eyes and nod yes and smile and back at it again.

I grew up in a Primitive Baptist church in southeast Georgia.
The only music in that church was an old time gospel quartet
4 men who stood up front and sang acapella. The oldest gentleman in the group was about 6' 7" tall and thin as a rail.
But he could reach down and hit bass notes that could shake the building.
This music takes me back to my childhood.

One of my most favorite songs! It’s our hope! Be comforted today knowing that our Lord and Savior is coming for his bride. Those who are ready and having their eyes focused on him filled with the Holy Spirit’s oil in their lamp. We all need to spend time with our first love while he may still be found. Soon that trumpet will sound and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are filled with the Spirit of God will rise up in the clouds to meet them in the air. Our comfort is knowing that Jesus is coming. The comforter living in those who are God’s people know the truth because he tells us all truth. We are seeing the end coming quickly.
