The “shoulder guard” is to protect the trombone from the neck perspiration which breaks down the lacquer and discolours your shirt collar.
Don’t push the mouthpiece in. Just place it.
should i buy?
its a pretty good beginner trombone, id invest in this if its something you wanna get into
big trumpet...

I think it would be perfect for middle school honestly, nothing too fancy but nothing too cheap
