To clarify I am a trumpet player and I usually do that for concert band. This was a end of the year sight reading session and at the time I’ve been playing flute for 4 months and I just wanted to have fun 😋

Wdym? This is extremely impressive for 4 months. Most people can’t play the concert Bb scale 5 months in, and he’s playing like multiple octaves and 32+ notes
@@HeindsAG no, he has been practicing this single song for 4 months i believe. he has been playing flute for way longer, i dont think its even possible to be able to play arabesque in 4 months of flute playing. if so he is EXTREMELY talented

The funny thing is that I got this flute for fun. I used to play the flute parts on recorder in a music club at my school and I was encouraged to actually play the flute. Now I enjoy playing flute more than trumpet and plan to get an actual intermediate flute.
@@P72962Not really that flute solo is too the DISCRETION of the flute player. Meaning, that the tempo is free for the flute soloist to pick. It’s free flowing and the conductor should make that clear. Everybody should fit around the flutist.
