Wow. He is checking the minimum and maximum percentage of the steel in each element. Guys please go through the reference manual of Staad. It'll show you how the steel has been arrived using Codal Provisions. For detailing you can refer to Sp 34 for Normal Framed Design and IS 13920 for ductile detailing.

@@Jags22079 yes sir ,here the problem is as we are structural engineering students we are not able to design simple structure s due to no proper guidance and leading to lot of confusion as your doing vedios with professional it will be a grate platform to learn and design structures and can open our own consultancy ....
in beam design, main reinforcement is at the bottom right? so reinforcement should be more at bottom when compared to top, but in the design output it is oppsite. Can you please clarify? thanks
Aren't the stirrups supposed to be spaced closely at the ends compared to stirrups at the mid. But in staad pro they show equal spacing of stirrups. How to fix that??
Regarding slab detailing has not been shown in this video. Please explain that also by using report. Also I need to know if I don't provide offset to beam and column which is not in line. In that case design result will be same or will get change. Please make an video on eccentric footing design. Because when we go for designing of building which comes under city there only eccentric footing is provided for Outer column.

Dear Abdul , I am thankful to you for ur queries related to steel ratio. The code permits maximum up to 6% and 4% and minimum 0.8% & 0.85bd/fy in column and beam respectively. However some of the columns have been designed and erected with 8 % steel even due to site restrictions and are performing well. You need to just check for bonding and shear additionally. Since this was a practical session we have said 8% , ideally we may follow up to 6%.

When i checked in staad pro there are no semi Colons...and each line is very short...there are no paragraph type...

This is not limited to IS456 , it is a universal practice
Yes this is as per IS 456 codal Provisions. We have checked for both max and min limits allowed as per IS code.
