Just got my first lakland a few months ago, a 55-01, wouldn't trade it for anything
I purchased a Schecter Banshee or Sire U5 (can't remember which) from you a few years ago, but live in France now, so I look for Euro zone suppliers. I finally found a Skyline HB 30 in Tobacco Sunburst at Fanatic Guitars in Barcelona, Spain. I'm really looking forward to adding it to my collection of shorties that includes a Tim Commerford Stingray and a Wattplower Mk II. I enjoyed your interview and was super happy to hear that all Skylines are set up at the factory in Chicago. That gives me a very high level of confidence to plunk down over 1400 € on a bass I can't lay my hands on first. Thanks, again!
I've owned 35 different basses from Sadowski to Sanberg, Music Man to Warwick, Fender to Roscoe, etc., but Laklands are my favorite.

Absolutely love Lakland!! About to have my 2nd 55-02!!🙏🙏 lakland 5502 is my favorite looking bass! And I have a lot of stingray basses, but the look or a lakland, the neck! The super cool headstock and that killer signature bridge!! Just love them so much! And they take very low action so well!!!
A company that many others ones should follow. I own a Lakland Skyline 55 AJ myself and for its price it is better in every way and detail than the 2 times more expensive Fenders. Kudos to Lakland
My 65-S Deluxe is a ridiculously nice guitar; my main player, in fact. Quality, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and all without looking too pretty to want to pick up and play out.
Skyline 55-01 owner here! Absolutely love the bass in spite of the import pickups.
The tone however always gets complemented by everyone else whenever l'm playing!

I've owned many different basses mainly ibanez basses but have always wanted to try a lakland. I am a big Incubus fan. Both bassists Dirk and Ben are awesome but Ben had a great tine and he plays Lakland.
I have a Warwick Thumb NT that is amazing, but i am always up for new things....
