I like the nvr really settling for that “ deck is solved” mindset and always being open to change and this is a cool card in theory. But there is a fundamental reason why looping bone is the way to go imo. As it stands and from my experience, I think the standard list of nr manages cb just nicely. U cb with stride skill, g4 nr skill and lazy refunds itself so it ends up being just nice throughout the game. Now if u try cutting eb cyclers for that card u recommend with the intention of not only using it once, but trying to spam it with g3 nr gb2 revive skill, it’ll definitely be at the point where the deck becomes way too cb heavy. Also ur point on finding bone being luck based, it is true to an extent but pretending that it’s completely luck based is just false. the standard list has draw options like cyclers, has philanders to check top 5 and ur checking top 7 when riding into g3 nr. Also this way ur using both cb and energy with balance. If u start using this card in place of cyclers, you’ll need a lot more cb and you’ll have a surplus of energy
I think you have somehow missed the points I was trying to raise. Ur not supposed to spam him with the GB2, because that interaction only comes up in the retire matchup. Not only that, as I stressed, the point of looking at this card was for the early game or even G2 game vs stride decksets, which means u wouldn’t have drawn as much through the deck, or even be able to use Columbard’s SB1 skill. So it is much more luck based in the early game than in the late game. U will definitely see 1+ bone by the time u perform first stride. Everyone knows this. Like I said in the segment at 5:30, I still think the majority of people are going to resort to loop bone, and that’s fine. The point of the video was to discuss the possibility of other draw options. Again, I invite u to test it for yourself and see. But thank you for your comment, I appreciate it.
@@ahmes004 if the emphasis is on specifically t2 and b4, I get that against stride decks with like ford and revaltis it could be lacking and that bone revival can be less reliable. But that being said, I still think the standard list has a passable early game with shade, philanders, alvina and bone. I agree it can be improved, I’m just unsure if that g2 card is the right way to go about it. Don’t get me wrong, I agree that it should work out well to rectify this specific problem. And assuming we heal once a game, using it’s skill once in early game shouldn’t cause any cb issues. I think I’m maybe more skeptical with the quantity and its function in the late game. Maybe I can c it as a 2 of in the deck, increase ur odds of having slightly btr early game and at the same time u don’t have to c it too many times in the later game
4:53 yey i get a shoutout.
My friend is building Nightrose next year, gonna send him this.
