Capital Kings has never ceased to amaze me. They are the only band that has no song which I do not like, and they just won't stop! Wether it be a new song, a remix of their own music, or even now a secular remix, it is absolutely breathtaking! Keep up the awesome work!!!

I believe that CK is doing what's right in remixing a non-Christian song. As a crossover band, CK appeals to unbelievers who may later be curious and eventually come to know Jesus. The song isn't "Christian" but it is popular and clean, a platform CK can use to advance the kingdom. I fully support them!

I understand that many people don't believe that Justin is a Christian or simply don't like him, we cannot see or judge his soul, that's God's job.
The purpose of "Christian" music is not to just build and encourage existing Christians but to open a door for unbelievers to witness the excellence and passion the Holy Spirt infuses into us. We don't always win over souls with our words, but with our daily actions. CK makes excellent music for both believers and unbelievers and I believe God has used them in the past and is continuing to use them in their present music. If God can use disasters and sinful people to glorify Himself, then I'm sure he can use worldly music just as well, especially when remixed by a God fearing band.

I watched the music video, and a portion of it is Justin getting very 'friendly' with a young lady for about 2 minutes. The video is about 5 minutes. Again, I'm not saying they can't do other songs. I just want them to be fully aware of what songs they choose. And when they do choose, I hope it's not for the sake of becoming a crossover success. I believe they can advance the kingdom without using crossover remixes. Can they make different remixes? Of course. All I ask is that they examine the reasons for doing so. /2 cents

As I see it, an artist like Capital Kings is called to one or more of three purposes, beyond simply creating music for us to enjoy:
1) To praise God by doing what they do best, as we are all called to do. 2) To create something that can help build us up in our faith. 3) To reach out and evangelize to the world as an ambassador of Christ.
This may not fit criteria 2, but regardless of whether Justin Bieber and this song are "Christian" or "non-Christian," I think it hits #3 on the head. It's a great remix of a song that has been on the Billboard 100 for almost 6 months, and if it gets even one person interested in Capital Kings, and from there, the God who is working through them, it is worth it.

John 12:32 "And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” you can help bring people unto God by just lifting Jesus up in your life and actions😊
You dont need to but it's still possible. God uses us to deliver the gospel and word of Christ to those who have no accepted him as Lord yet. This is a very clever way to get people introduced to Christianity.

I think they did this remix because a lot of people who don't normally listen to Christian music might find this and then if they like it, they might start checking out their other songs that are Christian and hopefully start listening to some of their Christian songs. I think it's a great idea in my opinion! :)

definitely a great remix! i don't get why people have to make such a big stink about this being secular. for KING and COUNTRY did a cover of Taylor Swift's "Out Of The Woods," which is definitely secular. That should not stop you from listening to good music.
"What Do You Mean?" also happens to be probably one of the best songs (both writing and vocalwise) I have heard this year (and last year as well).

Sip, se que es muy desconcertante el remix que sacaron oero ellos aun siguen siendo cristianos y no suben canciones por que tienen otros proyectos en su vida, un ejemplo es su familia. Pero no te sorprendas si suben mas canciones.

Cole quito partes explicitas de la cancion que tenian contenido sugerente y dejo una letra muy basica, en ese entonces creo buscaban de alguna forma ser sonados un poco mas.
Una banda de rock cristiano en ingles de los 80's - 90`s llamada Stryper tambien saco un album cover con canciones seculares y fueron criticados (en algun momento tambien critique yo) y claro ellos deberian solo inspirar temas en Dios pero creo que tambien una buena forma de que Dios se vea en los demas es haciendo cosas como estas, no sacando al resto del panorama sino de manera indirecta "invitarlos", no estoy seguro del total impacto que haya podido tener esta cancion, pero si miras actualmente Justin ha tenido acercamiento a la verdad que es Dios, por lo cual en vez de alguna manera juzgar esto deberiamos pensar como esto de una forma alcanzo a uno que otro fan de justin y despues se intereso en CKings !
