- Hi! My name is Crane. In this video, I will share with you my Mother's sales, prepping, making bouquets, selling, costs, profits. I will show you how I make a hand-tied spiral flower bouquet in spring. I will also share gardening tasks to-do in May.
About Me: I grow cut flowers in my suburban cottage home garden in a naturalistic style in New Jersey Zone 7. I make garden bouquets and sell at the roadside stand in front of my house. I also grow all kinds of vegetables and, sometimes, cook. I grow ornamental landscape plants and trees as well as create sanctuary for wildlife, birds, insects, etc. Thank very much for visiting my channel. Any question, please let me know in the comment.

Crane, have you asked your customers to give you mason jars and vases? Perhaps put a box out and collect them. That way you don't have to buy them.

HI, and congrats on Mothers day!! You did so well ! Hey, on the zinnia seedlings, I saw you are having issues with slugs.... they will definitely eat the directly seeded ones as well since they love to munch on tender sprouts. I usually sprinkle the ground with cinnamon as a deterrent even before they emerge and after a strong rain. It does help a lot. I would hate for you to keep loosing your precious Floret seeds.
Hi Sharon. Thank you so much for the tip. I just checked the site and found little stems with the head cut off. 😭😭😭 This is the worst spring ever. I learned and I sowed very little and still have quite some seeds left. I’ll try again 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hi Crane, you are one exceptional flower arranger. Your "I can't stop myself" technique is a talent. It will be very difficult to try it. However, thank you for the demonstration. One day I will try it. What makes your bouquets to standout are the try of flowers you use/have. You have everything in your garden. I like your work. That was sweet sharing the video call to your Mom with us. These two ladies raised up a well rounded young man. She didn't get a mother's day bouquet but she got love from you. Crane, I received the floret flower zinnia seeds “Victorian wedding” I will direct sow this week when the rain finally stops here in Massachusetts. The Benary purple zinnias I started inside and put them in the garden last weekend. This is my second foray in Zinnias. I’m interested to follow along with you and your zinnia journey.
