Bard rises in value greatly when you don't have a red, and you have a second gray to handle blocking overkill damage. 5 block is a lot, but putting it on everybody rarely is enough.
Lost my Force streak at 11 wins (aka 11 wins with Force in a row). But it's because I'm an idiot and tried to carry Agent with Sticky Fingers curse. I was distracted watching TV while I played and didn't notice my error until it was too late. I don't think that's necessarily on the comp :) I will also say, I started forcing Mountain as well, and that comp is legitimately tough. Insanely strong late game, but getting there is very scary. The midgame is just a bunch of T2 Grays and Blues tickling your enemies without any healing. Yikes.
after reflecting on our last discussion (and also trying the comp myself) ive come to the conclusion that force just sucks (by that i mean that this comp sucks at getting 100% or near 100% winrate), all that it really is is just variance, either u win really hard, or u mess up/get unlucky on 1 turn and lose instantly, what it comes down to is that having mana is just too good, banking mana can and will bail u out of unlucky situations, having reds mean that u can somewhat consistently (or atleast more likely to compared to force) stay ahead of poison, currently for me, force is like gambling, either u lose it all (ur streak) or u win really hard, but u dont need to win really hard, u just need to win in this game, so the added risk of force being inconsistent against the reward of "winning harder" for me isnt worth the risk (also sorry abt ur force win streak, but itll happen anyways, and mountain just suck ass, no way anyone actually think that comp is good)
Yeah mana and healing are really strong. I think that’s an important takeaway. I also think some of the things I said before are still true: some curses are very free for Force and while the comp has some probability for low rolling, it’s possible for the comp to be strong enough (when played correctly) to overcome bad variance. I think it might be that strong. I lost but it was clearly my own fault. I’m still open to the comp being very strong and worth picking when the curse matches up. Say I’m at 50 wins and I have a chance to pick Force with a good curse versus Basic with a tough curse. At this point, I probably go with Force.
mountain is like magical but somehow with an even more horrific early game, i feel like if you play that comp and your green isnt cat or shovel you just reroll
Lost my streak last night at 50 wins. I feel like you are most responsible for shaping my S&D brain so I came to both thank you and blame you for the loss. If you're curious- lost it by seeing 8 unpickable curses of which I evaluated depleted spells as the least bad of Ghostly HP, Big Hitter, and the single use one. Dunno though, kept me up at night...
the unfair guys rate ghostly pretty high, it's not actually that bad it's just annoying to play into. the monsters dont kill you any faster though so you can outlive almost everything
It might just be me but I'm fairly certain the Else tactic is supposed to be pronounced like the name? It would make a but more sense as Bard is hardly going to make a song about connectives. Great video btw.
kill 4 hp is goated in midgame. one of the few ways to kill Ghosts or Shades in one turn. And vulnerable is basically +X for the number of other attacks so it's a lot more than 1 damage with the right build.
"We can 1 v 1 the ogre" - Says the man with 5 characters. 1 v 5 my friend.
i mean me i'm gonna jump through the screen and beat ass

You missed the huge scabard barbarian combo ☹️ 11 damage!
Neither Formation or Unite care about pain or death

I appreciate your nuance and going through your decision making framework as to why this comp is seen as it is. Oh fuug wait, dude force lmao.

I think I saw a vid where Punpun says Odd Single Use isn't that bad, but I don't remember how long ago that was
Damm that's a tough set of curses
@ Left two single use, played it once before and I think its just too low% of a play, it hurts the tier 3 red pool way too much IMO

how does blind know you have enough hp that he should flee
top 10 questions science still can't answer
he can hear that everyone else around him is fokin dead
woah..
more like classic fard 💨
+2
3:50 woo woo (Hatsune Miku in Fortnite)
Why'd you put flickering blade on whirl? Wouldn't it have been better on thief bc you'd wanna copy cat from whirl more often?
thief is a little more prone to just dying, you can put it on either and it's fine
@Voyix okay, that makes some sense to me!! Thanks for the insight!
It's not bad, but you have to rethink the game to play it. Kubda like a anti-meta
Right 2 blanks plus eccentric sounds like a Green tier 1 character.
This is the worst I can think of Force, lol.

Ayo I tried the all-blind no-choice double XP run and it's fun but maybe too easy, XP is pretty valuable
Great run!
I really never understood the trapper hype. dude does not do anything
trapper herbalist goes crazy but tbh that’s the only time i really ever take him

vulnerable is really good unless it's useless
