I would like to add a point,from my self_experience. Do not use Beard oil,as it creates Split-ends to your beard hair, then it creates illusion of more heavy beard.
I've used beardo last year & it does work for *patchy beard* it'll increase the density and length of beard for some extent. But it causes acne issues too. & Not sure if it works for a zero beard guy. My recommendation will be to apply castor oil(for patchy beard) these oil can harm you skin, it'll make the skin more delicate & acne prone. Castor oil is safe, it works slowly but does get results.
totally agree i am using beardo "beard bam" yes it shows shine when i apply and yes its no benefit in growth but i use when i have to go in interview or any places where i should look well maintained

During school days my chin hairs growth was much more than moustache hairs this forced me to trim and later on shave my chin hairs....thus with time I required to shave my chin more often then my moustache . Now after almost a decade I find that my moustache hairs are comparatively softer in comparison to my chin hairs and they take upto 2 weeks to grow properly compared to my chin hairs that grows within a week. So why is it so?...if u saying it is a myth that regular shave makes hairs hard or increases hair growth.

Beard oil/normal oils just give a good environment for optimal beard growth. To grow beard you need to use minoxidil with or without microneedling.
