The minecraft website literally just says "You dont own a copy of minecraft. Come back when youve bought the game and redeem your cape" so i cant get the creeper cape

It depends on which microsoft account you use and whether or not it owns Minecraft. It also does not work on mobile.

Funny thing, you can get the tiktok cape as of you uploading this, and you just have to complete a quest it gives you, I dont know if it's different for every streamer, but Toycat has an afk stream going and all you need to do is type "Minecraft" in chat and then you can just claim it.

The tiktok cape is available to get now for bedrock
Note for the TikTok Cape: The time is 3 minutes and some streams may have a keyword for you to get the cape. And also, its not just any Minecraft TikTok live, it has to be a video that is in your region. So if its not available in your region, then you have to unfortunately use a VPN to get your cape.

Half-Life's 25th Anniversary was in my opinion much cooler, especially considering the game absolutely deserved it's reputation while Minecraft has had some very iffy things going on more recently, and with them focusing on Bedrock for some reason. Despite this, I will admit it is very cool that this game is celebrating 15 years, in which I have been around for all of them.

I hope that one day they fully sync the bedrock and java capes, so people with minecon capes can use them on bedrock and so people with bedrock capes can use them on java. Like I'd love to use the pride or pancake cape on java

you can literally just make custom cosmetics on bedrock for free, theyre pointless anyways since big servers have cosmetics disabled

you need bedrock to get the capes, the only ones u can get on java without bedrock are the twitch and tiktok ones since there gonna be converted to java +bedrock on jan 8 and the twitch one is really easy, i have the twitch one

its because their servers were being overloaded, since so many people tried to claim at the same time (akin to a ddos lol) most people have claimed it by now, so you can probably claim it now too

No, you can redeem the codes. In fact, they’ll expire if you don’t. Basically the capes will first show up on your bedrock account, and after the specific date will also be visible on Java. Not sure why it’s like this, but that’s Mojang for you. Hope this clears it up :)

Why does it make me feel old that i think they are giving out to many capes. The old ones were for special individuals, from events, or for account migrators. Now everyone who pays attention will at least have one, and i feel that will take away from the specialness of them

youre not fooling the government, youre simply telling tiktok you are using an ip from another country, and to comply with laws, tiktok will not allow you to use their service if your ip is from a banned country, tiktok is very aware you are in a banned country they just check ips to barely comply with law
