Great content! I hand´t played go for 10-15 years. Your videos have helped me play a game from time to time again. You are very Good at explaining. Keep up the Good work and content!
Lee Changho was the “Stone Buddha” and his endgame was too good. If you played a simple opening and middle game, then he was happy to beat you in endgame. Lee Sedol had to become a tiger and out fight him everywhere to try to win. And still the games were very close. Lee Changho still won championships over the next few years after this game, because he too changed his style to become a fighter! Shows how good he is. I think he is top 5 best of all time for sure.
What a great match between these two GOATs. I LOVE watching matches like these, it is so impressive how each player is able to understand the intention of their opponents move and come up with clever and unconventional ways to go forward without just going along with their opponent's plan. Every time I think one payer came up with a really creative move that would have me terrified, the other player comes up with an equally impressive move to keep the game close. Two geniuses going head to head. Beautiful stuff.
It is how you get good at fighting. I try to play sensibly in tournament matches but maybe I should not. The danger is I don't know when to switch it off and win a won game, but maybe that is true for Lee Sedol as well.
Thank you for this game. I hate when a player behind tries to complicate the game near the end to "find something". It's stressful and often leads to mistakes.
