Protective styling is great when it is done right, but it can also go horribly wrong if done incorrectly. The best way to do protective styles without damaging your edges, causing a lot of breakage, or overall damage is explained in this video.
These hair growth tips will work for natural hair and relaxed hair or any kind of hair. one of the main reasons i grow my hair so fast and retain so much length is, I do a lot of protective styling! The key is to not experience breakage or damage before, during or after doing my cornrows.

Cornrows grow my hair but I dontvwash them
I just wipe my scalp once a week and light oil my hair once a week. But my low porosity wetting it over n

I tried cornrows as protective styling but I’m not a wig fan ( it gives me headaches)😢😂

@@destinycollins9398 I tie head wraps once in a while but I also can have it on for long cos it gives me headaches also 🤣😭🤣😭
Drawstring wigs are better because you can control the size of it more which will cause way less tension on the head/less headaches, and crotcheting twists into braids is nice too
