This is so great this is an option. I’m semi hearing imparted (I wear earplugs 24/7 for autism). And trust me, when a hearing impaired person find out that a creator doesn’t allow captions, WE HATE YOU!! Like seriously! We look down on creators that don’t put in the effort to even auto-caption their videos. It’s a turn off to not have captions. Accessibility is a must for creators to be liked by everyone, trust me!

Thank you! You're a really good instructor! Do you have any tips on what you should be thinking of in terms of making the stream as accessible as possible for visual, audible or any type of impairments, not only CC? Would love to have a video just addressing that. Is there things one should think of with layout, how you stream or plugins to use?

This is a great option, thank you for sharing! Is there a reason why you prefer this instead of the Stream Closed Caption extension? Tbh I haven't been able to set the extension up properly but I like the idea of the viewer being able to turn it off and on as they wish, as well as the option for translations if the viewer wants to support.
The translation option is nice! I personally prefer full control over the placement/look of the closed captions. I've tried the extension in the past and it can be intrusive on the screen, show up on places that cover crucial parts, etc. Also my experience when using it on other streamers channels.
Totally up to you tho! Again, the translation option is super powerful, and makes it def the superior option!
