It rides in the pocket surprisingly nicely, I dont know it's there other than the weight. Ppl are saying it's impractical, but it's a great all-around knife. I don't own knives for every application. This knife is a work horse, and the blade is easily touched up. The biggest downside is the weight, but the upside to that weight is that the blade is wide enough at the top to choke up your grip and rest your index finger on for precision slicing. It's really well balanced for that. Also, it's a MUCH more positive lock-up than any other folding knife I've seen. It's about as close to a fixed blade sturdyness as you can get in a folder.
Probably my favorite production knife. Impractical im more urban areas, tends to make today's people uncomfortable, but in use it is pretty good. Consistent design though the handle could use some work. Not atypical for production knives, and most customs too.
For me Rajah II is practical... i use it for cutting bread for sandwiches, make sandwiches, and what i like the most is when you take something like butter or you must dig in something and take on the blade something that curved shape helps alot... i use it everywhere... Too big? i would prefer one bigger like +20% size
I don’t agree that rajah 2 is impractical. It’s amazing as a fighting knife. When held all the way at the end of the grip, The reach and the ability to cut through limb, rope, branch with a single swipe is incomparable. And surprisingly, it’s more than a decent camp knife. Just like the original kukuri used by the locals of Nepal, you can choke up all the way and use it as a kitchen knife substitute by holding the blade between your thumb and pointing finger. Finally, with the ultra tough triad lock and beefy blade that you can even baton with it. Although, admittedly, as a folder, this really isn’t the intended use. What it is impractical for is, obviously, edc knife. But if used for purposes that it excels at, I think it’s a great knife.
Hehehe. Bought a Cold Steel Espada Large for sizzles and giggles. It doesn’t fit in the pelican case. Sits in a drawer. But the fun factor is definitely there. Not going to get the XL; it’s a two fisted one 😂😂
@@DirkWerning this knife comes out of my pocket and goes under my pillow every night. It never leaves my side. Lansky sharpening system is the ONLY one to have to maintain the edge. In a perfect world it would come with a damascus blade... a damascus blade would be the ONLY improvement you could make on this knife in my opinion. You can absolutely trust your life on this knife.

cold steel knives are just plain fun! I really like this style of blade...cool to see it in a folder.
Absolutely
Are you getting that new Maxace Vortex S? I want it but it's just too much for me lol. Cheers.

Just awesome! I can appreciate impractical especially with cold steel. Great video 👍
Cold steel! Great video man! Definitely a fun monster knife for the collection. Definitely my largest folder. Next size up is sword territory 😅
Yes!!!!! 👏
Seeing it side by side with my spyderco bug (smallest spyderco made) is a hilarious difference!
I almost bought one. Still might someday

Lolol
It’s ALL about the fun factor man.
thats beautiful tanto
I love big impractical knives, aka Maxace, but to me, this one just looks cheap.
Got a Maxace I’m planning to film this weekend actually 😉
Impractical equals unusable. Little more than a paperweight at that point. 😁
You’re not wrong BUT the fun factor is certainly there. Lolol
Not impractical at all. I've been everyday carrying the raja 2 for 5 years now. It absolutely does it all for me.
@@simontemplar6279 really that’s AWESOME. Is it the only knife you’re carrying??
@@DirkWerning my edc is my raja 2, my 357 snubby plus 2 speed loaders and my cold steel heavy duty sword cane. ( yes its the only knife I carry)
@@simontemplar6279 very very cool man.
