Just saw him perform this live at Kcon Germany man absolutely live changing. Everybody was cheering, clapping and stomping so loud I thought the arena was gonna fall apart but it was sooooo great. Key is such an insane performer and he's also just so funny, born to be on stage truly.

Yup, Key does Key and he does it so so well. I also love the way he focuses on individual body parts…eyes, mouth, ear …. The different sensory inputs that you can derive pleasure from. I think this is my favourite key album yet.. and that’s a high bar to hit. Key is an artist in the true sense of the word. His concepts are not only unique but every little thing is carefully designed to make his vision translate to the audience. And he’s definitely king of the subtle smirk 😆 The SHINee boys have totally delivered this year… just waiting for Minho’s full album this month🎉
Key never disappoints and I learn so much watching your reviews. I love the way you point out technical aspects we may not have noticed like the 2 lights lighting one scene from behind. It helps us realize the extra special attention Key and the staff put into his MVs. Thanks PD!!!

100% agree that this is not an easy concept to pull off, nobody does it like Key. Oh, and I had the same reaction at the end😂 too short! But Pleasure Shop is so good, the whole album is great too. Touring did him so good, his dancing is on point, and I feel like his vocals leveled up. If you can check out his live performances and Lee Mujin service episode i highly recommend.
You hit the nail in the head about AI! He really wanted to explore this and how it would completely change the artist and make them not themselves anymore. It’s why there’s uncanny valley elements to the MV.

I interpreted the You're Welcome part as having two meanings. There's the you're welcome that you mentioned, like "yeah I know I did that, you're welcome" but also like "everyone's welcome into the Pleasure Shop"? I keep wondering if he meant it both ways haha. Anyways, glad you enjoyed it! I haven't stopped listening to the song since it came out omg

Key's choreographers do this amazing thing where it's like, halfway between typical girl-group and boy-group choreo. Then he has all his backup dancers doing the same choreo and it's always top-tier.
There is Pleasure Shop stage video from Keyland uploaded on SHINee UA-cam channel, and I'm sure you will love it since it's live band version ❤ And there's Overthink performance video uploaded on the SMP UA-cam channel and the camera work, lighting, editing, etc. are phenomenal. I needed an explanation, because I hardly ever pay attention to MV, but there’s a lot in this, & it could kind be interpreted as being about the music industry
This whole mini album was so good!! Overthink and Going Up were so unexpected for me, but makes sense seeing how well CoolAs did. Onew's Flow was amazing, but i think Pleasure Shop has dethroned it 🙇♀🙇♀🙇♀
