Just got my set and unfortunately I have a problem. The louvered square pannels just after the portholes are separating from the body just from holding the unit. I hope it is just a defect on mine and not on all of these units. What a shame, now I have to deal with lionel waranty on this.
Any issues with the smoke units on these? Looks like the A unit was running strong and nothing was coming out of the B unit. Later, in the video, it looks like they are both running okay.
Nice set ,Awesome paint Scheme.The piping on the top are Exhaust stacks , I believe NS put GP 38 primer movers in the two A units when they had them (:

I think just the “breaking in”. Haven’t had any issues so far and both units smoke

@@train-addict4656 are the exhaust stacks for something like a generator for the passenger cars?

Not sure but only have one prime mover per unit with Generator, NS modified them .
