My State just allowed studies towards psychedelic’s in the treatment of depression, PTSD, addiction and anxiety, etc. It’s a good start. Fungi are capable of so many things.

What’s the study/major called? As I myself want to learn and possibly make it into a career myself.

I'm stationed in South Korea. Is it possible for me to get samples of fungi from here? I am very interested in mycology. If there are any connections that I can contact in south Korea in order to further the study of fungi and climate impact, it would be great.

Another way is to get locals interested in participating in citizen science.

And the point of it all in the end is what use is it to people.
All this we want to conserve nonsense is double speak for we want make a library of various resources around the world, have people get paid pocket change for helping g you take valuable information for practically free, in order to make a profit , because conservation takes money.
Who’s making the products in the end?

Huh? Uh no, the point of conservation efforts is actually -- surprise! -- *conservation.* The problem comes when these efforts are run as businesses, which have bottom lines and profits to worry about (prioritize).
Conservation efforts are incredibly important if you want the earth to still look remotely similar to the way it does now, in 50 years, or 100 years, etc.

I would believe that if the feds don’t license companies to also mine, drill and harvest timber from those same lands.
Conservation is just another industry now. Unfortunately.
