Howdy pardners ! Took advantage of the beautiful suuny weather today, even though is was still quite chilly as long as we stayed in the sun we were pretty comfortable in our light winter jackets. We may have to switch to our heavier winter gear Thursday as we're supposed to get snow & rain mixture. Not sure yet if any accumulation is expected. Shavonda was in all her glory today as we hit her favorite stores, Ollie's & Odd Lots. We found some nice decorations, the kids found lots of interesting candies at Odd Lots. and we all even got FREE GIFTS on the way out of Odd Lots ! The only downside is there's such a amazing assortment of things available at such great prices BUT we can only fit so much in our luggage for the return flight on Friday afternoon. We booked a later flight than normal so we can spend extra time in the area. We won't be on our flight till late afternoon instead of the morning. We also stocked the fridge & cupboards for our Thanksgiving feast! We got a bag perdue chicken as you did, Stuffing, yams, Mashed Potatoes, gravy & cereal, milk, marshmallows, frank & beans for the cook out. Stores Graham crackers, Mr Beast chocolate bars at Ollie's for the stores. We got lunch meat, cheese & bread, mayo, soda, water, & chips. All very economical. We've been exploring the area & enjoying the Carriage House pool, hot tub, arcade & our room. We shot a few baskets, rode the infamous frog & horse. So much to do & so little tine. So helad you scouted the area out so we can fit all the most worthwhile & enjoyable things into each day. It looks like Thursday will be a day to enjoy indoors & look out on the beautiful snow from our balcony. We'll ta ta for now pardners ! Text you shortly 🤠 Lynnwood & family
@Lynwood_Thomas593 were glad your having such a great time. There's so much to do & see there. Can't wait to hear your cookout & Thanksgiving stories. Make sure you get the staff to schedule a time to turn on the fire pit & grill. Remember you can't cook or roast marshmallows on the fire pit just on the grill as the fire pit so stick to cooking on the grill it was fun & easy. Give them notice so they can get the propane ready on time. Ask for blue, he was very helpful in arranging our cook out.
