1.) Fabric with a pattern that says something about you!
2.) Jewel/Accent if you desire such flair
3.) Two placemats (tile design)
4.) Felt Paper (2 small sheets or 1 large sheet)
5.) Clear Super Glue (E6000, Gorilla Glue, or Super Fabric Adhesive)
6.) Mod Podge (Matte)
7.) Scissors
8.) Masking Tape
9.) Binder Clips
10.) Velcro buttons

You’re welcome! I got it at Michael’s. Funnily, it ended up not being the best lining. The tiniest amount of misplaced glue causes tremendous peeling. I tried something fancy for the video, but usually use black cotton as a lining.

Just finished mine and I love it. My only issue is with the velcro. Ir is pulling off one side or the other when I open and close and pulls at the felt I used as my lining.
I’m so glad you love your clutch! ❤️ When it comes to the velcro, a little bit of super glue can be used. Also, the fancy felt lining was something I tried for the video. I actually have only used regular felt as padding with my plain fabric on top. A drop of superglue may secure both sides to stop the tugging.
I’m actually thinking about doing an updated version of this DIY with some better tips. Glad you love yours!

Hmmmmm. I'm not sure what white sheet you're referring to. The back of the blue placemat is white. Maybe that's possibly what you saw and it looked like paper...
Do you have to use two place mats or can you use one?
It will still work if you use one. Hope it turns out beautifully for you, Sister!
(I use two because I prefer the body of the clutch to be thicker.)
