An ode to a music legacy
Bandish Hub is an initiative by us, Flute Sisters - Suchismita and Debopriya Chatterjee to create, present and conserve the music legacy of our musicologist father Shri Robin Chatterjee, who is also a well renowned ‘vaggeykar’, one who can write lyrics as well as set them to tune. He has written many compositions or ‘Bandish’ which have been published in the book series called ‘Sur Vani’ and ‘Sur Pravin’. He has been conferred with 'Sangeet Natak Akademi Sanman' for writing more than thousand ‘Bandishes’.
This is a humble effort on our part to sing our father's composition, which we have been listening to since our childhood. We would like to thank each one who contributed towards making this video, and giving wings to our dreams.
