I just started playing Nilah and I find her super fun to play - I'm finding really hard to vers against champs with any kind of cc, if my cleanse/quicksilver is not available, big team fights or in lane I get focused on and killed quite easily if I am caught once. Great Video! I like to start sword+refill potion for getting earilier powerspike, would you recommend that? And my duoq likes to play engage supps, what would be the ideal combo there? leona kinda works but taric seemed the best one so far imo.
@thetruesteven Thank you so much! Sword+refillable start is not recommended due to how strong doran's blade is. Best supports with Nilah are Sejuani/Taric/Rakan but any other engage support synergizes with Nilah really really well
Quick question about the passive xp- Do you only get the bonus xp if you have an ally next to you? Also does this mean you will always be ahead in levels or xp in a 2v2 botlane? (Granted no major fuck ups happen) Sorry if this is a dumb question, new to the champ like 3 games in. Also great video, keep it up!
So when a minion dies it gives xp around it if you are close enough (You can turn on xp notifications and other helpful tooltips in the menu in-game). When there are multiple champions close to minion they each get less (it's about 60% each for 2 champs, ~40% for 3, ~30% for 2 and ~20% for all 5). Nilah's passive is "Whenever Nilah kills a Minion, she and the nearest allied champion gain an additional 50% of the experience they would have lost from sharing" For example when a melee minion dies, if you were the only one there you would get approx. 65 exp. If your support was next to you, you would both get about 40 exp. or 80 exp. total. If you are Nilah and you kill the minion, you instead BOTH get 80% of total exp. which is approx. 50 exp or 100 total! So yes after a few waves of experience- granted no major fuck ups happen, and if both bot lanes are farming up with supports and ADCs in lane you'll be getting bonus exp. compared to enemies and you'll just always be ahead in levels!
@sahibnichani You only get bonus xp if you have an ally next to you and if you last hit the minion or your support last hit's it with support item. heyy i would like to know when to go each build since u just showed them, im going collector navori as default but the youmuu/opportunity seems good i just dont know when to go for them
@Waxopez Hello I would recommend going Collector/Navori/LDR 90% of your games and go lethality build when your snowballing and entire enemy team are squishy!
@etsukaze3216 Actually Karma/Ezreal is out of control right now they're really broken after the nerfs so I ban Karma and tell my team to ban Ezreal. Karma is just so obnoxious to play against...
What do you think of Essence Reaver next patch, since they buffed it for 5ad it could be an option now, i'd say it will outdamage collector in majority of basic combos now, since they also buffed the spellblade proc last patch, it also eats turrets.
@Rodoloponto One of my viewers on livestreams already did the math and it does more damage than the collector but he didn't take into consideration what happens if you stack 2 lethality items with collector and Voltaic. So I feel like maybe It's not gonna be as good option with Collector/Voltaic/Navori/LDR/BT build swapping out collector but for Essence/Navori/LDR/BT/DD maybe gonna be an option hard to tell yet need to see how it feels first
@@UrNilah What about swapping voltaic for ER, one lucky crit with the 20% more crit chance will outdamage the lethality, and then take into account the spellblade procs, that you will proc at least twice a fight+its more haste+your q will be much stronger on 2 items cuz armorpen, lifesteal and ability damage scalings+when you get navori its 4%more on its passive.
@@Rodoloponto Hmm maybe but we're building voltaic for It's huge slow and lethality. The problem is Nilah has quite low base damage but maybe that would be an option if essence becomes really op
Is lethality nilah good? Or going for a bruiser build? I think she's pick/ban in the right hands pros just don't pick her that much. I think nilah has a lot of potential if you have a duo(taric/lulu/senna) 👀
@eryalmario5299 Dirk Bruitaliser into Voltaic/Collector/Navori/LDR/BT or defensives for you're last items feels amazing currently I've been spamming that build quite a lot! Nilah is beyond broken with a duo like Taric/Lulu/Soraka/Rakan/Pyke so you can easily abuse these duo's for free lp!
Why opportunity over collector as first item, collectors gives you lethality and crit wich heals you. Opportunity besides the usual assassin's stats and the running passive for me (as a nilah newbie doesn't seems worth)
@jinxgobrr Oh It depends most of the times you're building opportunity when your snowballing and don't build it when your behind so by going opportunity you will have a lot of movement speed plus after a take down another burst of movement plus extra lethality which feels really nice! But ofc you can go collector first It's completely fine depends on your preferences
@etsukaze3216 Oh boy you're here for a treat literally just play safe lvl 1 let the wave bounce last hit get lvl 3 first all in at lvl 3 and snowball the game after all-ing at lvl 3 getting they're summs or literally straight up killing them due to the Nilah's bonus xp! If you can't find lvl 3 all in than just wait until lvl 6 you're gonna be 6 first anyway from Nilah's passive and run them down then! Also look for all in opportunities at lvl 4/5 as well when enemies are 1 lvl down abuse item advantage slow push waves freeze under your turret give pyke opportunities to look for all in's and you're gonna be winning 70% of your games!
@@alexandernice3934 I personally go for Doran's blade if I have engage support but if you have someone like Janna that doesn't much pressure in lane then Doran's shield is completely fine
