in the regular tcg, sure. pocket doesn't necessarily need to follow the rules 1:1. honestly id prefer if they treated this game hearthstone style and changed/nerfed cards that need it, but keep the basic pokemon style the same
@mac_sour but its not about tcg, this is about the franchise, sirfetch evoluindo from a regular farfetch would be a contradiction with pokemon evolution line of the core games

I was wondering what tauros deck was preferred. I run tauros, greninja, cramorant. Not as consistent but it's a lot of fun. Flipping heads with cramorant is funny

A lot of people keep trying to make the new Tauros a thing, but I don't think it's very useful. It can't 1 shot any ex's except for Celebi (if you have Gio). I've had no luck with it. Three energy is too much for what he does
Yep, can't one shot any ex's. Except for Pikachu outright, and Starmie, Celebi, Mew with Gio. Or Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Arcanine if you've attacked even one time while you're building up energy on it. Definitely not useful.
Tauros still feels underwhelming to me. I wish it had 120 HP and hit for a base of 60 on non ex and then just do double damage for the 120 on EX. It would be way better and still balanced imo.

No.1: 2 Koffing (you can choose) 2 Weezing (GA) 2 Mew ex 2 Tauros 2 Oak 2 Pokeball 2 Koga 2 Budding Exp 1 Leaf 1 X Speed 1 Sabrina 1 Giovanni No. 2: 2 Mew ex 2 Tauros 2 Druddigon 2 Oak 2 Pokeball 2 Budding Exp 2 X Speed 2 Leaf 2 Sabrina 2 Giovanni The strategy is the same in both variants. You try to stall with Drud or Weezing while dealing a little damage with Rough Skin or Gas Leak. And while these Pokémon are stalling you can build up either Mew ex or Tauros, depending on your matchup. It almost counters anything in the game right now. You can try both versions, there's pros and cons for both tbh...😊
@chicagodukedog With Weezing I'd run darkness energy because you really wanna start with Koffing and you mostly need Mew only for genome hacking. With Drud I'd rather play with psychic energy as you can also start with mew then and you don't use drud to attack only for stalling

I've been running two of this Tauros with the wheezing and arbok combo and it's been working amazing
