I do t know, man…. I am on a quest to find something durable for my kid, bc I am tired of restringing every day. Have tried a bunch of various setups the past 2 weeks, and today I had her hit with Restring Zero 1.23 in the mains at 52, and Wasabi X on the crosses at 50lbs (2024 Pure Aero 98) The initial feedback was that, “it’s okay” but after 60min, she ended up switching back to the RPM rough (52-50) because, the hybrid setup had dripped tension (?) and the initial control was just gone. Last week she hit with Wasabi in the mains, Wasabi X in the crosses (so basically full toroline) strung similar tension. Again, the initial impression was “pretty good” but after about 40min her racquet just became a rocket launcher. On the flip side RPM Rough 17 is very comfortable, has great pocketing and control and has lasted her 2 hours already and still great!! And yes, it does have incredible sNaP-bACK…. lol! In my humble opinion the RPM’s SB is about 10-times that of both, the toroline as well as the restring Zero. I want to be open minded and am really, really trying to like these strings everyone’s talking about but, with all honesty I don’t see what the big deal is… 🤔🤔🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Funny guys. All sound like they are talking whilst having a mouth full of food. Very enthusiastic. Love the energy. Not much analysis as to why the string shined in the Aero but not in the PD (maybe note what string does work well in the PD so we're not left scratching our collective heads?). I agree with the color comment as to more sales, but over the years, for some odd reason, I and others have found colored strings seem to provide more pop than black strings even when the same strings and gauge other than the color, though I have no idea why. Maybe something in the process that adds the color dye? Maybe something to look into with the string manufacturers in another video.
Interesting comment on the colour of strings… will make some enquiries and see what we can discover! (If anything at all) I think the difference in stiffness of the frames was the main reason, it’s a stiff string so In the stiffer PD didn’t feel great. The slightly less stiff PA 98 really made the string come alive more!
Great review. Personally I lost too much control when I switched to the Wasabi, I came from the poly tour pro. I really don’t need help with power, the wasabi felt like a trampoline for me, fence finder 😂

That's because even the slickest multi isn't anywhere near as slick as a poly. If you put a multi in the crosses the strings will stick out of place pretty quickly
What would you recommend for mains in a Vcore 98TOUR? Wasabi or Toro Toro or super Toro? I was going to use a softer round poly like ghost wire for crosses or Wasabi X.
Hi, sounds like a good set of combo options to me. Your choice of mains is going to be based on your stiffness preference. Wasabi is stiffest, then super toro and then toro toro. But would classify them all as stiff generally. Personally I like toro toro so would go with that and the wasabi x!
What would be your opinion to have the wasabi strung in the crosses with a multi like NRG2. Currently using Hyper G Soft 18g. So how does it compare with that?
I really like how you test strings in different type of racquets. I feel that gives you a better picture of how the string performs. Also your comments are honest and with a lot of technical knowledge of the equipment. Basically I can visualize how the string works just by hearing your comments guys. One thing that I don't hear too much from you guys is how comfortable the strings are. I guess you're young and strong and that doesn't matter to you guys, but it would be nice to know about comfort, specially with this string Wasabi that I've read it could be hard. I also like the slimmer white dude. He knows exactly what he likes, tells what he feels, and is exact to the point of the review. I agree with him that the colour is horrible. 😂
Thanks for your comments. Ben, the slimmer white guy, was particularly chuffed! Yes comfort is a big factor, would say that it is quite stiff, the Pro Hybrid (wasabi Pro) is a little more forgiving with Wasabi X in the crosses!

Would it be better to use something like Toro Toro in an 18x20 versus a square shaped string like Wasabi?

Great review. I wonder if you would like the Wasabi x WasabiX hybrid mix.
We have it in a couple of rackets - should have our review out in the next couple of months!
@@PH-Tennis-Equipment great. Trying the restring zero string now. Very cool. Whatever courts you play on look awesome!
How much best tension for apply in my babolat pure aero use this toroline wasabi?

If slickness is what allows for snapback, how come when I string hybrids with slick multi crosses, the poly mains just stay spread apart?

Would feel and play great - but that NRG2 will get shredded in no time…
Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it
Great review guys! I personally love the colour, whatever it is 🤣. Looks like Toroline have plenty to offer.
We agree!
Dear PH Tennis, to clarify for your viewers, was this a sponsored review? Or you bought it with your own $?
We were sent the Strings FOC to test, and to see if we like them enough to stock them.

Interesting
Love the videos guys! I don’t think you sound like you have food in your mouth 🤣
Wasabi against zero ?
Good Idea...
its just cheap poli ester plastic made from petroleum. u dont even give the stiffness rating
Tiresome marketing video. Get a review from a real player, not a tennis shop trying to sell this for profit.
