Six Flags Fiesta Texas, formerly known simply as Fiesta Texas, is an amusement park located in La Cantera, San Antonio, Texas. It is owned and operated by Six Flags. The park was built by Gaylord Entertainment Company and opened on March 14, 1992, as the first business in the district of San Antonio. The park was later purchased by Time Warner in 1996, who turned it into a Six Flags park.
Spanning 200 acres (81 ha), the park was originally built to become a destination performance arts park with its focus on the musical culture of the state of Texas.
The park's current icon is Scream which can be seen from all around the park as well as outside the property. The vibrant colors of Scream can also be seen from the intersection of Loop 1604 and Interstate 10, as well as miles away from Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Most of the other attractions at the park are hidden due to the park being surrounded by a rock quarry wall, but some key visible rides include the SkyScreamer, the Crow's Nest Ferris wheel in Fiesta Bay Boardwalk, the lift hill of Superman: Krypton Coaster and the lift hill of Iron Rattler.

Great video! I was just there too and it was good to know they are still cleaning everything. I even saw one staff member follow the other one out with gloves on and wipe down the latch to the gate!

I went in 2008 when Goliath was built and testing(?) but wasn’t quite open. Bummer. Great park though!
Also, Goliath’s entrance looks very out of the way despite being at the very front. Do a lot of people just miss that entrance?

Most of the time newcomers go way past it. They painted a giant sign just a few months back so you can finally find it.

This was the first Six Flags park I ever visited after going there in March of 2013 but unfortunately it's also my least favorite so far. When we were there, it was way too crowded, White Water Bay wasn't open and they didn't finish construction on Iron Rattler. The worst part was at the end of the day was when we were in line for Pandemonium and it said it would be a 45 minute wait when it actually felt 90 minutes. We didn't have time to do Scooby-Doo: Ghostblasters because we had to catch our bus (unfortunate as San Antonio has the worst bus system ever). This sucks as Scooby-Doo: Ghostblasters is closed and Pandemonium is just a clone of a coaster I've ridden at other parks before (I should've chose Scooby-Doo is what I'am saying). Now you're probably thinking after reading this comment that I'll never visit this park again. Well, you'd be wrong. At the end of the day, we just chose the wrong time of the year to go there and I'am more than confident that this could be one of my favorites if we went there in June or July. Not to mention I always believe in giving parks a second chance. For example, my first experience at Kings Dominion was mediocre when I went there in 2008 but it ended up becoming another one of my favorite parks after revisiting in 2013. So I'am definitely looking forward to coming back here some other time in the future but I can promise you from now on that I'am only visiting these parks in the summer time when everything's open and not everybody wants to come here at the exact same time.

As a local i would say that the time is crucial as when you come. In San Antonio we receive many tourists in holidays. In summer as schools out many people come. Scooby-doo did close, but it was just re-themed to The Pirates of the Deep Sea. Whence the white water bay is open the guests to distribute through out the park. Also it gets very hot as its Texas. I do agree that the transport ( Via ) does need improvement. That's why i advice you to plan out every single thing. Ride may get repeated becuse Six Flags gets its rides in what is "trending" I hope in the future you have a better expirience. Go big, go Six flags

I appreciate that. I was thinking of taking a vacation to Austin one year and up there experience Typhoon Texas and the new Kalahari in Round Rock then drive down to San Antonio and spend a day at Schlitterbahn on the way down and then spend my days in San Antonio revisiting this park along with SeaWorld, Aquatica and Splashtown. That would be exciting as it would be in the summer and I don't think I'd have to worry about taking the bus. But if I did, hopefully they've improved it by now after all these years.
