My company supplied most of the welding equipment they used to make this boat. Nice to see such a beautiful end product. Shame they only made this one boat in the UK then pulled out.

Awesome yacht. An engineering masterpiece. Beautiful in every way. But the long skinny wave piercing hull design that allows that incredible top speed, seems to be a teeny bit tippy in ocean swells. It's a bit like a very sexy canoe.

what's the purpose of the moving flaps at the forward area of the ship, on the flare and deck? you can see them at 0:55, and can actually see the one on the deck moving at about 1:02.
Not flaps but hatches to gain access to anchors. What you are seeing in the video is the door being closed.
The only thing it's missing is a wakeboard tower :)

A more proper name would be luxury sport yacht but since super yacht only means stupid expensive, privately owned and professionally crewed it would indeed also be a super yacht... and a damn sexy one as well :)
