I literally got chills at the figure in the window! Surely whatever spirits are in your home are friendly ones and probably enjoy your energy. My home is over 100 years old and when we first moved in, I had dreams and visions of children running around upstairs. I later found out from the older lady we purchased it from, that her mother ran a daycare here years ago!

Josie you can cleanse your home with a bundle of sage (disclaimer - just don’t use white sage or the internet will come for you), lavender or juniper, amongst other things if you feel there are any spooky goings on. Cleanse each room with the smoke and then open the windows to let it out x

If there were any "guests" in your house, Dexie and Dickie would have let you know long ago and after a year there, you would know it, too. I would forget about worrying about any ghosts but one thing I would do is get some more friends over and block any exits and start searching to make sure no one else was sharing the home with me. It's a big place and I've heard of it before. I sure hope not, lol!!!

Just to help you for next year, I would create a planter book and log what you have planted, how much, in what kind of soil, etc. Then as they grow and produce, log that information as well. That way when you go to plant next year, you will have your notes to reflect and know if you need to increase or decrease the seeds. Love my vege garden! Yes, just finished watching it, I have my own perspective of Oprah, I wished it was more enlightening on the royals behind the walls.
josie that wasn’t a light it was a person walking past the window as i screen recorded it and played it back frame by frame it was fascinating as it was someone for sure. They walk past the window then return and look out of it in the bottom right hand corner. Im spiritual and a medium so it was wonderful to watch x
I just rewatched that part of the video as I didn’t see anything the first time, and it’s unmistakable! You can see something 3-4 times. My husband and I were both spooked! Seems the energy in the house is super positive though, so seems like no harm if there is spiritual energy still there 💕💕💕
That Italian granny was kind and loving she didn't scare me at all, I see them all the time and I hope you know that many are not wanting to cause fear, they just love their homes and want to stay. So if that was someone there, they ment no harm if you dont feel scared that's because they don't want you to feel that way, heck they could be very protective of you both.

Make sure your using seed starting mix for your seeds it’s lighter and fluffier and if you use soil or potting soil it’s too dense and heavy for the seeds to sprout through. With seeds the lighter and fluffier the better and you’ll have better germination. Then once your ready to pot up into a larger pot you can use regular potting soil and compost. I also sprinkle a little vermiculite on top of the soil after planting as it helps the soil retain moisture and in case I forget to water one day that protects my seeds. Good luck I started just like you watching UA-cam videos! I heard you mention your watching garden answer now 😊 a couple others you may enjoy is impatient Gardner, flower hill farm, fresh Kutkey, all great gardeners. Enjoy! Can’t wait to see what grows. Cosmos also can be direct sown along with the zinnia and you will have amazing success they are both super easy to grow! 😊🌷next spring you’ll likely get into bulbs like I did and have loads of daffodils and tulips! Also tomatoes like heat they are a hot weather crop it’s recvomended to start inside on a heat mat set to about 70-75 degrees. Good luck in trying all sorts of tomatoes 🍅 myself for the first time from seed and I’m so excited about them! I have brads atomic tomatoe check those out on bakers creek heirloom seeds

I looked into the Cotswolds as too how haunted it is, quite a bit of sightings and a lot of places known for them. Your gardening is an added bonus to the vlogs. The boys playing always makes us smile. What are the chances of Charlie turning his deserted channel into a cooking channel? He’s so descriptive and happy when showing the feasts to the audience, I can see him virtually teaching and being quite successful at it. It is known if you have an historic property and begin renovations, previous energy -spirits attached to the property could resurface and energy around the house like lights etc flitter and pets could be looking at places where you cannot see it but they will... Smudging your home is a way to protect your energy....

Had it grow up my husbands house before we got married ... we took it down and had to have bricks re done to sell house... worse thing to grow on any brickwork it ruins it as you can see. Try to keep your rose tags for reference. At least for a year or so. It will also help you in remembering what you bought, how they did ect. Put this in one of your garden books/journals.

I totally agree about Meghan, would she get so much hate if she was a man? No way! On the gardening side, tomatoes also need warmth, so I recommend taking them inside too! Tomatoes love all the sun and heat they can get and shouldn't be taken outside or in the unheated greenhouse until the night time temps are around 10 C. 🌞 Also, you've probably read this already, but make sure the soil never dries out when you're waiting for seeds to germinate or when the seedlings are very small and delicate. If the seed cracks open in the soil and starts to germinate, but then dries out, the seed dies and there will be no plant. I really recommend checking the moisture levels on everything every day. The cloches help keep moisture in, but really keep an eye on the ones without it, airflow dries plants out too. You've got such good drainage on everything that I wouldn't worry about over watering at this stage. 🥰
OK I watched this “face in the window “ several times now. Maybe. The way it disappears and reoccurs though. There’s not a copper weathervane on your house somewhere is there? It almost looks like a reflection of something turning at an irregular interval and flashing in the window. But then you’ve had all those experiences hearing something in the house when you’ve been by yourself. Interesting to see how this develops.

I wouldnt worry too much if there is an old occupant sharing your home. Just tell them that they are making you feel a bit scared and would they mind not doing so. Your home seems a very happy home so there shouldn't be anything to worry about. I was told burning white sage in the corners of your rooms helps, saying that that might look out for you if you let them gang around xx if I had lived there before I would probably stay after I popped my clogs 🤣 I wouldn't want to leave!!
Oh no! Vermiculite and Perlite are quite different. Vermiculite will keep soil from compacting, but it is rather dry. Not great for seedlings except lower in the soil. Perlite is wonderful for topping seedlings, and it keeps algae from growing atop your soil. Hopefully they will still grow sweetly - plants are quite surprising sometimes with what they can handle!
I just wonder about the dye in the TB boxes and how they might impact the soil... Also some seeds - like lettuces might be better sowed directly into their final growing place.

I just rewatched that part of the video as I didn’t see anything the first time, and it’s unmistakable! You can see something 3-4 times. My husband and I were both spooked! Seems the energy in the house is super positive though, so seems like no harm if there is spiritual energy still there 💕💕💕

Make sure your using seed starting mix for your seeds it’s lighter and fluffier and if you use soil or potting soil it’s too dense and heavy for the seeds to sprout through. With seeds the lighter and fluffier the better and you’ll have better germination. Then once your ready to pot up into a larger pot you can use regular potting soil and compost. I also sprinkle a little vermiculite on top of the soil after planting as it helps the soil retain moisture and in case I forget to water one day that protects my seeds. Good luck I started just like you watching UA-cam videos! I heard you mention your watching garden answer now 😊 a couple others you may enjoy is impatient Gardner, flower hill farm, fresh Kutkey, all great gardeners. Enjoy! Can’t wait to see what grows. Cosmos also can be direct sown along with the zinnia and you will have amazing success they are both super easy to grow! 😊🌷next spring you’ll likely get into bulbs like I did and have loads of daffodils and tulips! Also tomatoes like heat they are a hot weather crop it’s recvomended to start inside on a heat mat set to about 70-75 degrees. Good luck in trying all sorts of tomatoes 🍅 myself for the first time from seed and I’m so excited about them! I have brads atomic tomatoe check those out on bakers creek heirloom seeds

I would agree with this assessment. This is how most people from the country dress. Warm, practical and not too expensive. I cocked an eyebrow at the designer gear in her country wardrobe. I’d be paranoid that it would get ruined.

Just so you know Wisteria while beautiful can be extremely invasive if planted near trees or on homes. I know this because the forest behind my home is completely covered in wisteria. Also I love your videos and will definitely check out that antioxidant you were talking about.

On the gardening side, tomatoes also need warmth, so I recommend taking them inside too! Tomatoes love all the sun and heat they can get and shouldn't be taken outside or in the unheated greenhouse until the night time temps are around 10 C. 🌞
Also, you've probably read this already, but make sure the soil never dries out when you're waiting for seeds to germinate or when the seedlings are very small and delicate. If the seed cracks open in the soil and starts to germinate, but then dries out, the seed dies and there will be no plant. I really recommend checking the moisture levels on everything every day. The cloches help keep moisture in, but really keep an eye on the ones without it, airflow dries plants out too. You've got such good drainage on everything that I wouldn't worry about over watering at this stage. 🥰
OK I watched this “face in the window “ several times now. Maybe. The way it disappears and reoccurs though. There’s not a copper weathervane on your house somewhere is there? It almost looks like a reflection of something turning at an irregular interval and flashing in the window. But then you’ve had all those experiences hearing something in the house when you’ve been by yourself. Interesting to see how this develops.

Yes, I saw the face, minute 46.14-15, you can see something appearing at the base of the window, on the right, but I think Josie is just exagerating or creating drama because, if you look on the left, there is another window to a room that is fully lit up, so it must be somebody in the house! @@helenab9973 she probably didn’t zoom in because she was a little shocked at what she saw. I saw something move past the window in one direction, then move back, and then appear and disappear- it almost looked like someone walking by the window.

I wouldnt worry too much if there is an old occupant sharing your home. Just tell them that they are making you feel a bit scared and would they mind not doing so. Your home seems a very happy home so there shouldn't be anything to worry about. I was told burning white sage in the corners of your rooms helps, saying that that might look out for you if you let them gang around xx if I had lived there before I would probably stay after I popped my clogs 🤣 I wouldn't want to leave!!

Oh no! Vermiculite and Perlite are quite different. Vermiculite will keep soil from compacting, but it is rather dry. Not great for seedlings except lower in the soil. Perlite is wonderful for topping seedlings, and it keeps algae from growing atop your soil. Hopefully they will still grow sweetly - plants are quite surprising sometimes with what they can handle!
I just wonder about the dye in the TB boxes and how they might impact the soil... Also some seeds - like lettuces might be better sowed directly into their final growing place.
Your garden will look amazing with all your flowers and I love celeriac, I spotted your pippa greenwood leaflet, she is a good gardener and used to be on gardeners world years ago.
